Help : Message Board

I just wanted to post a brief note outlining our guidelines for the message board here at ACOT.  We have in the past only lightly "policed" the board out of respect for those of you who use the board on a regular basis -- believing that everyone should have a voice and be able to speak their mind.  But because of the amount of "negative" posting over the period that we have had the board available, we have been forced to begin routinely hiding negative and deflamatory postings. 

Our policy is this: If you cannot say something with respect and with a good attitude, please do not say anything at all.  In the words of Bambi: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Our official rules state: "By using this message board, you agree not to post false or defamatory, obscene, sexually oriented, harassing, or threatening material." 

We want everyone to know that if we find posts here that in any way tear down another individual (whether with good cause or without good cause), they will be hidden.  If this type of activity persists, those who maintain this behavior will be removed from the Message Board.  We also discourage posting negative comments of any type through the use of our Private Message system.
