Parties Plus!

Learn to create your own party supplies!

This class was so much fun at the 2008 NSD Crop! With these simple downloads, you can create any number of designed party accessories, including an invitation, a name tent-card, a party bag and a thank-you card.

Designer Julie Mead also put together a fantastic freebie, just for the Crop, based on her kit, "Count On Me!"

1. Download the files and unzip!

Parties Plus! Templates

2. Open each template and decorate as you desire. For this crop, we are using a special freebie created from the “Count On Me” kit by Julie Mead. This freebie was put together especially for this class!

3. The cards are straight forward. Each is decorated, printed and cut-out, then fold each one in half. Fill in the inside as desired.

4. The Table card is also relatively straight forward. The turquoise bar at the bottom will help it stand more easily. Fold along that line, and then again halfway along the main plaid portion.

5. The Treat Box is a little more complicated. After decorating the template as desired, merge the items and print on heavy-weight cardstock.

Side B:

7. Using double-sided tape on the coloured portion of the side flaps of Side B, stick them to the inside (white side) of the side flaps of Side A.

8. Fold up the base towards the bottom, trimming in size as necessary. Adhere double-sided tape to the inside portion (white side) along the edges and fold up, sticking it to the other flaps.

9. Gently crease the sides inwards at the top. The flap can then be stuck down to the front of the treat bag.
