  My Bio: Hi - I'm Heather and I'm thrilled to be GCT at ACOT for October.  I've been scrapping approx 5 years.  I do mainly paper but I dabble a little in digi.  I love to focus on the photos and try to be a little different , add a little humor and don't necessarily focus on what the current trends are (I'm usually way behind). I love bold bright colors and graphic style design.  Right now I seem to be really into making cards.  I'm originally from Northern Ireland but now live in Anchorage, Alaska (so please excuse any funny spellings). I've been married for 12 years to dh Dan (who is off hunting right now and probably for most of the rest of the month).  I LOVE to travel, to read, and learn new skills.  I also love to build and fix things. (dh and I built our house)

Favorite television show?   Probably CSI Las Vegas.

Favorite movie?   Recently I loved Mamma Mia - what a feel good movie - I was able to sing along with all the songs (now I'm really showing my age)  I also love psychological thrillers.

Name 3 of your favorite candy bars.   Crunchie, Cadbury Flake, Lion Bar (all UK candy)

Name 3 musical artists you enjoy.    Jude Cole, Nickelback, The Scorpions

Favorite (NSR) store to shop?   Amazon.com

Favorite (NSR) magazine publication?   I don't read other mags

Name 2 of your favorite colors.   Not sure I can pick - love lime and turquoise but actually normally wear brown

Favorite thing to do with your family?   Travel - anyplace, anywhere

Favorite thing (non-scrap related) to do without your family?   Cycling - really clears out the cobwebs

What's your favorite scrapping tool to use when scrapbooking?   My huge chunky Xacto knife

Name 3 of your favorite SB companies/lines.   American Crafts, Maya Road, Scenic Route

Name 3 of your favorite embellishments to work with.   Chipboard, sheer Journaling blocks, right now I can't keep my hands off pompoms

What are your favorite adhesives?   Adhesive Tech Glue Runner, glue dots

What is your top two fave holidays?   Halloween (love to have scary, gross parties) and Christmas (love the family time)

What's the one thing you must have readily available when you sit down to scrap?   My photos - can't design or create anything until I've decided what pics I'm going to use

What would you like the ACOT members to know about you?   I'm actually from Northern Ireland but now live in beautiful Alaska. I can't say no to a challenge.  I'm a jack of all trades and master of none.  I love to learn.   I'm thrilled to be GDT for October.  I love the challenges and camaraderie at ACOT.  Thanks for all the inspiration too.

Heather got to work with the 3 Bugs In A Rug Autumn line.  She did an amazing job on these four layouts.  I love how she used the arrow shape for the last one.
