Did you know that Saturday October 4th is World Card Making Day? This is a holiday especially for card makers around the world to celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family. It is a day to connect with fellow card makers both near and far, to applaud the creativity that powers the craft, and to provide an opportunity for card makers to find resources that will empower, inspire, and encourage them in their card making.
To celebrate, join A Cherry on Top in a Card Making contest! All you have to do create a card and upload it to the card contest gallery by midnight (PST) on Sunday October 12th.
Rules: The card/cards must be new to the ACOT gallery. You may enter as many times as you like. Can be paper, digital or hybrid. Original designs please, no scraplifts. You MUST provide a detailed listing of all the products used to create your card in your description of the entry.
Prizes: There will be 2 winners for best card creations. The winners will receive one of the new Flurries and Frost card gift sets from Deja Views that contains five 4"x6" cards of assorted design and five envelopes. All cards are blank inside. Plus, 500 POINTS will be awarded to the person with the most entries and additional points will also be awarded randomly to participants!
Need some inspiration? Be sure to visit A Cherry On Top's CARD GALLERY.!
