STELLAR Spotlight Layouts for October

These creations are out of this world!

Our Creative Team is spotlighting some star quality layouts this month...all of the amazing galleries have made it hard for them to choose just one!

PATCH by HapEScrapR

was chosen by Tracy (Icanhascherryontop) because the layering and shadowwork is superb. She is in love with the natural country elements that really convey a fall feeling!

Pam says: This layout has depth and textures that ROCK!  I love the earthiness of it!

Jess really loves the distressed look to this LO and all the fantastic Fall elements!

Angela says,  "I love all the Fall details and embellishments, they work perfectly with the worn edges on the background."

Cindy says: Love the colors and all the fall elements. Very striking!

Kathy finds  the "patch" title to be AWESOME and she loves all of the homespun elements!!

Egle says, "I love how there's use of white space here....and the elements are grouped together at top with the picture."

Beth says, "Cute photo, choice of products and design!"

Sara thinks it's just so adorable!

Diana says, "The textured elements in this are amazing. I love that adorable sheep!"

APPLE OF MY EYE by JulianaM

was chosen by Pam (4peasinourpod). She says, "I ADORE everything about this layout. The amazing picture, the paper selection, and the title work to start with, and each element chosen after that enhances it even more. It is GORGEOUS."

Laura F. says, "Apple of my eye has exquisite detail! The red paint, the gorgeous layering and perfect title work all come together to make a beautiful layout!"

Angela says:  What a cute photo! The title is perfect and I love all the different layers.

Angie LOVES  all of the elements here especially the painted frame around her picture!

Kathy says, "What a cute photo!! The red title and use of paint draw everything together perfectly!"

Egle thinks the picture is adorable...and loves the look of the title.

Beth says, "Love the photo and design. The colors compliment the photo so well."

Ronny says, "Wonderful, the combination of papers is great and love the red paint."

Kristiane says: I love the number of layers she fit onto the page, how the patterned paper mat balances the patterned paper adjacent to the photo, and how her title pops with not only shiny red letters but also the mix of upper and lower case letters.
 

Janell thinks this is So, so, so sweet! "I love the red chipboard alpha, makes the apples pop!"

LIFE IS GOOD by Marilou64

was Jess' (ScrapGoo) choice because Marilou uses so many great techniques! I love the paper tearing and the stitching and the colors are perfect. There is a lot going on with this LO but it remains harmonious.

Tracy says: Fun layout!! The colors are wonderful and I really like how she incorporated the paper tear into the title work by circling the number 4. Very creative!

Pam thinks the swirls give the look and feel of waves, and the highlighting of the 4 is adorable!

Angela finds the design awesome and she loves all the colors.

Cindy says, "Those swirls are amazing! I love the numbers border along the bottom. "

Egle loves the angled photo...and how the boy's age is "highlighted."

Sara says, "I love all the swirls! Great boy page!"

Laura F. thinks that photo is PRICELESS! The fun waves are the perfect accent!

Ronny says: Fun, great use of color and movement on the page with the swirls reminding me of waves.

Diana says, "I love all of the waves and tiny details! All the colors remain classic by pairing them with brown and black."

Christmas Eve by 1LuckyMom

was chosen by Angela (bluejeans7) because, "I love the design on this layout and how she was able to use so many photos. Love how all the ribbons, buttons and flowers follow the circle."

Cindy says, "The photo placement on this layout is terrific- love the title around the circle."

Angie loves the mix of flowers, ribbons and buttons!

Kathy says: I'm loving the use of the circle here - great design element to draw us in to the photos & journaling!

Sara thinks 1LuckyMom did an awesome job using a large number of photos in one page!

Ronny says, "Great design, the circle really focuses your eye on the photos."

Diana loves all those buttons! So cute!

Kristi says, "I love this design, with the photos overlapping the circle and the round accents to help reinforce the circle."

Janell says: Love the circular theme with the photos breaking the limits and the adorable buttons and flowers going with the circle shape.

Sarah says, "Great design! Love the mixed ribbons and buttons on the circle!"

I LOVE THIS GIRL by ScrapCathy

was chosen by Cindy (kimandasmo). She says, "I love the colors, all the little photos and the flowers. It all comes together beautifully. "

Ronny thinks this is a beautiful design.  The color really makes the adorable black and white photo pop.

Diana says, "This is so adorable! The color combination is beautiful and I love the dimension the flowers lend."

Kristi says: Beautiful design! The wavy border compliments the flowery paper and embellishments. I really like how she layered everything to stand off the page and draw us in to those adorable cheeks.

Janell thinks this layout is amazing! "I love all the cluster of elements and the adorable mini pictures scattered at the bottom."

Glenda says, "I just want to squeeze those cute cheeks! What a sweet page with those pretty flowers for embellishing."

Sarah says: Such a precious layout! The clustering is perfect and love how she placed smaller pictures among the elements!

Miranda says, "Oh my goodness...this is beyond adorable! The photos are so sweet and the colors and elements are fantastic!"

Tracy thinks this is really just darling! The baby is adorable and the layout is so sweet with all those flowers.

Laura F says, "Could these layers be more beautiful? I adore all of those tiny photos upping the cuteness factor!"

HALL OF GOLD by Koala 1966

is Angie's (nun69) choice because she loveshow the gold just shines on the burgundy background and she used our very own Tracy Template!

Tracy thinks Tanya did a wonderful job with the template! She loves all of the gold accents that go with the theme of her layout.

Pam says, "The colors on this layout are perfect and rich...I love the journaling and how that enhances the great pictures!"

Jess says: This LO shows such a unique way to showcase a ton of journaling and the record embellishment in the corner is a great touch!

Egle says, "I love how the sparkle in the photos is brought out with the use of papers and embellishments here."

Beth thinks the gold in the accents brought out the gold in the photos so brilliantly. "I love the warm colors and design of the page!"

Sara says, "She did a great job using what could have been some hard colors!"

Ronny thinks the color combo here is wonderful, and makes the photos look so crisp and just pop off the page.

Sarah loves the golds and red!

Miranda is in love with the rich wonderful colors of this layout!

OH NO by Meadow92

is Sarah's choice because she loves the vibrant colors! The picture with the title is just too cute!

Laura F says, "This is such a fun and whimsical layout! The photo looks like trouble and the title is really great!"

Kathy says: I'm loving the transparent frame she used here, and the doodled effects are so fun!

Sara thinks this is soft and whimsical, and the title just totally catches the meaning of it all!

Ronny says, "Very fun, great color and love the doodled feel."

Diana thinks this is such a fun layout! "The clouds and frame are down right cute!"

Janell says: I'm always a sucker for bright colors and funky elements. This is so cute!

Glenda says, "So C.U.T.E! I love the retro look of this layout and that translucent frame is to die for. Perfect title for that photo too!"

Tracy is loving the bright fun colors on this one. The title is cute and really makes the picture that much more fun.

Jess says, "The whimsy is overflowing on this bright, fun LO!

INSIGHTS by Natalia

was chosen by Kathy (katarria). She says this about it, "In terms of design, I don't even know where to begin - this is truly a work of art. In terms of subject matter, I love that she scrapped about something that she wants to support and raise awareness towards."

Tracy thinks this is An absolutely stunning layout! "I totally agree with Kathy, this layout is like a work of art."

Pam says, "WOW...this layout has so many things going on, and it all works fantastic together!"

Angie thinks this is just simply AMAZING...everything about it!

Egle really likes the use of the journaling blocks on this layout!

Beth says: The colors and design of this LO are so warm and gorgeous! It looks like a work of art with all of the layering, details and dimension.

MADONNA by LyndaBouck

was chosen by Egle. She says, "
I love the title and journaling and flourishes...and the use of white space here! Awesome!"

Tracy thinks Lynda has made great use of white space! The brush and title work are first rate!

Jess says, "I love how lyndabouck picked up the bright colors in her photos and made them stand out against the white background."

Laura F is amazed at the gorgeous title work and the bright, fun brushwork on this layout!

Angela loves all the soft hits of color on the edges of the background, great idea to group the photos in a strip.

Kathy says, "WOW - great use of white space! I love the photo strip & how the flourishes/title are used together!"

Karin says: OOOHhhHHH!!! Love the colors, love the film strip, love it all!

Sarah thinks the white background really makes the swirls pop - Beautiful!

was chosen by Laura Fiore, who says, "This layout by M'Lee is stunning...the photos are beautiful and the layers are subtle but powerful!"

Sara says, "I just love the soft focus of the photos!"

Ronny loves the beautiful warm colorsand great stitched frame.

Kristi says: The photos really pop off the page with the rusty and golden colors of her elements. The different scroll and flourish elements give the page a sophisticated feel.

Diana loves all the layering and rich tones in this layout!

was chosen by Diana (dianagirly) for the simplicity of the layout. "The warm colors and rich photo tone make it absolutely beautiful." says Diana.

Ronny says: So cute, I love the combo of black and white photo and brown with pink.

Kristi thinks this is a fabulous white space design with just a hint of color and pattern to accent the striking photo.

Janell says, "The photo is really the heart of this layout, but all of the elements and simple design make this  an overall beauty!"

Jess says: The photo here is stunning and the composition works really well!

Angela thinks this design is Clean, simple and beautiful! Love it!!

Laura F says, "This layout is so warm and sweet! The photo is priceless and the colors and design are a perfect compliment to it!"

BUDDHIST TEMPLE by Scrapsakes

was chosen by Beth (Beth-W), who says, "The pretty colors, design fitting so many photos and all of the details on this LO rocked my world! The photography is so artistic and all of the hand cut accents were perfect."

Tracy says, "So much great stuff going on in this layout. She was able to have a lot of pictures without it looking busy, and the colors and elements really are wonderful!"

Pam thinks the details are incredible in this layout, and the photos are amazing. "I love this design!" says Pam.

Jess says: This LO is gorgeous! The papers and colors are 100% perfect for her photos and the elements on the right give it wonderful balance.

Angela says, "I love how she used so many photos, all the detail work is amazing!"

Kathy says, "I always love Grace's photography and how she is able to tell the story so well! The "Buddhist" chipboard letters are perfect!!"

Ronny thinks it's wonderful the way she used so many photos and beautiful layering of so many papers.

Sarah Loves everything about this page! Especially the border of journaling, flowers and mixed edges!

LOVE, HOPE & HAPPINESS by Jopke

is the layout chosen by Sara (keling). She chose it because the texture, use of B&W and sheer simplicity has allowed her to create a stunning piece of artwork!

Ronny says, "This caught my eye too, what a great photo and texture."

Diana thinks this is beautiful! The texture and photo are perfect!

Kristi says, "Wonderful layout with a strong and simple design. Masterfully done with a blended close-up photo and minimal accents."
 

Janell thinks it's so simply ADORABLE!

Glenda says: I love the texture, blending and word art. Lovely use of space.

Tracy says this about Jopke's work, "I have been enjoying seeing all her layouts in the gallery recently. I love her minimalist designs that really keep your focus on the photos. The blending and title work on this one is fantastic!"
 

Jess thinks this is a beautiful example of how simplicity can be just what a LO needs!

Cindy says, "the texture to this is just fantastic as is the sentiment."

ASPIRE by Abu Dhabi

is Ronny's (Smiley-Scrap8) choice because this layout caught my eye right away. The background really sets the tone of the layout and I love all the photos included and how they are pinned together.

Diana LOVES the cloud background and all the pictures!

Kristi says, "I really like how she kept the succession of photos in a single line to emphasize the action and the background paper is a wonderful choice to underline her special journaling."

Janell thinks The journaling is very precious in this layout and she loves the clouds that go perfect with the word aspire!

Glenda says: The clouds are perfect for the tone of this layout. The frames are adorable!

Tracy says, "The choice of paper and the way her title blends in, instead of standing out, really supports the theme of the layout. Just looking at I feel like we're reaching into the clouds."

Jess says,  "I love the airy-ness of this... all the elements lead the eye up, just like we are climbing with him!"

Cindy thinks the background really makes you feel as if he is climbing to the sky-- the photo and title placement is superb.

Angie LOVES how her words cross the page at the same succession as her photos!

Kathy says, "What a great way to scrap these photos - I love how the row of them depicts the event so well! The safety pins are a fun way to tie them together!"
