LOOK! Up in the gallery... it's a bird... it's a plane... NO! It is a Super-Power packed reveal from the Digital Creative Team!
To tie in with the 'Girl Power' theme of our NSD Crop, the CT decided to add a comic inspired punch to their layouts. This is such a fun style and can be used on photos of any theme. You'll notice that many of the layouts feature costumed kids but you could also use a comic strip design to help tell a playful story. This style also allows you to try out some really cool photo techniques to get that artistic, cartoony look for your photos.
Spider-Man 24/7 by Angie (nun69)
~This Spider-Man fan is the perfect candidate for a comic book layout. Angie used the Comic Stories Templates by Katie the Scrapbook Lady to easily arrange her photos and journaling bubbles.
The Brave Knight by Diana (dianagirly)
~Diana says, "I created a comic that reflected my memories of [the newspaper comic strip] "Prince Valiant." This style was perfect for some Halloween photos of my children. I used the Poster Edges and Halftone filter effects in PSE to create this look."
The Pirate by Sarah (davsar)
~Sarah created her layout to look like the cover of a comic book and applied 3 different photo filters to get the perfect look.
Super Paisley by Laura (Art_Teacher)
~Laura says, "It was so easy with Katie the Scrapbook Lady's templates! ...You could make a whole comic book for your kids with their own photos." Laura finished her layout off with perfectly selected fonts; Adventure and Comic Sans.
The Red Ranger by Janell (janello)
~Janell transformed her average, ordinary photos into comic book art by using an artistic filter (poster edges) blended with a custom grey halftone layer, that gives quite a punch!
Jonah vs. Gymboree by Ronny (Smiley-Scrap8)
~Ronny masterfully created this layout using NO kits! She blocked her photos after applying come artistic filters to them. With a solid background, she gives the photos the floor and used simple shapes for powerful journaling bubbles.

You may have noticed that many of the kits used a similar product. Well, that is because there really isn't anything like the Comic Stories Templates set by Katie the Scrapbook Lady! She dominates with this fantastic set, it has all the pieces you need to create a fast and fun comic styled layout.
