Our Gallery totally ROCKS!

Well, with the National Scrapbooking Day crop weekend, we kicked off the galleries with a bang this month. So many great layouts rocking the gallery that our Creative Team had a blast finding some fun favorites!

You by Deanna Kroll

Was chosen by Kristianne (mamak321) who says, "I love the simple design with artistic brush strokes paired with the over sized, handwritten title. It really emphasizes the emotion of the layout."
Janell thinks that the artistic brush strokes and the stitching are the perfect elements to this beautiful, centered white-space layout.
Cindy thinks this layout is terrific. She loves the colors and the sentiment...they really pull at you. She also really likes the distress look of the paint swirls and the flower on a boy layout.
Amanda loves the light wording on the background and the splashes of paint around the photos. Makes a very artistic painting look.
Sara says: "I love the paint splashes and movement on this adorable page! Definitely frame-worthy!"
Kathy says, "I love the paint smears and think the title is too cute!"
Angie says she LOVES the vibrant color of the picture against the stark white background.
Egle thinks the look of the title is neat...as well as the faded out word art that runs across the paper.
Angela loves the color combo on this layout and how the title overlaps the background wording.
The first thing that caught Sus' eye was the paint swash down the middle. Gorgeous touch. Sus loves the design and the title.
Beth thinks the brush strokes are a very clever accent.
Jess loves the combination of the grungy paint effects with the elegant lettering and clean border... great colors too!

GIRL POWER by scrapprincess18

Was chosen by Janell (janello) who comments, "This layout is so fun and vibrant with the colors and the cool chrome and glitter elements."
Cindy likes the colors and the movement of this layout and the awesome sparkly title.
Laura F. thinks this layout is lots of fun. That title is perfect for girl’s sports photos!
Amanda says that this page shows great work with the colors and elements. She really likes that the photos are both focused in the same area.
Kathy comments, "What cool sports shots - great mix of colors for this page!"
Egle loves the colors used here to highlight the fun pictures!
Sus thinks this layout has great colors against the black and the pictures are great!

Diane thinks this is such a fun layout and highlights some fantastic photos. The color scheme and embellishments are just perfect!

YOU TWO BOYS by my3boyz

Was chosen by Cindy (kimandasmo), who loves how bright and cheery and happy this layout is. She also loves how many different alphabets were used and the buttons and the circles. Just awesome!
Amanda thinks this is a stunning layout. The variety of color on the black makes it all jump out. The use of lettering and elements is great.
Sara says: "I love the rainbow colors here, and the hand-cut circles draw your eyes into the black & white photo like a bulls eye."
Kathy thinks this layout is amazing!  “The contrast of the bright colors on the black background, sweet photo, and title all work perfectly together!"

OMG! Angela loves the beautiful rainbow of colors and detail work on this layout. And of course the design is awesome and that photo is too cute.
Sus adores the layout design on this and the colors against the black are incredible and very eye catching.
Jess loves the vibrancy of this layout! The black background really pops the rainbow circles and the group of buttons was a great addition!
Kristianne says, "This is a fantastic design and a great way to use scraps of paper and embellishments!"
Laura states, "The repeated circles, rainbow colors, and dimensional title all pull focus to the great photo!"

THAT’S WHAT I by jumlai

Was chosen by Amanda (mkcdaisy) loves the masking of the photo and the light color paper done the same behind the photo. It is a great focus to the photo and elements around it.
Janell loves the action that comes through with the feathered grassy edges used in the mask.
Cindy says the white space in this layout just draws you into the photo. Wonderful job!
Laura F. thinks that is one amazing photo! She loves the subtle text under the title that works as journaling too!
Sara says: "The action is awesome! It feels like the horse is going to leap out of the page!"
Kathy said, "The photo masking is awesome here and my eyes were immediately drawn to the photo - great use of white space!"

FREELY EXPRESS by M’Lee

Was chosen by Sara (keling) who says, "MLee's single use of one photo throughout the layout is awesome, and the quality of the photo is simply stunning. It captures so much expression, especially for a profile shot. Awesome job!"
Egle likes the monochromatic colors used here, as well as the same picture used throughout the layout.
Laura F. thinks the different crops on the same photo are awesome…the title work rocks too!
Karin thinks this is a really fantastic masculine layout, with a great graphic design and fantastic use of type to convey feeling. Great job!
Sus loves the design on this, loves the photo placement and loves the sentiment behind the layout.
Jess loves this photo and the repetition of it. The layout seems to evoke the same thoughtfulness that is shown in the subject's expression.
"This could be THE best interpretation of the Ad Inspiration Challenge I've ever seen!" Kristianne says. "The stunning colors, the way the single photo is repeated in each of the smaller squares, the perfectly positioned title... it is perfect."
Ronny is really amazed by this layout. The beautiful photo is really the focus in the graphic style and the word art adds just the right touch. Lovely!
Laura likes the way the repeated parts of the photo intermix with the title, creating a very strong, graphic image.

The way the same photo is duplicated and recroppped really caught Cindy's eye. She thinks the placement of the photos really helps the eye to follow them. Superb job.

SHE’S SO LOVELY by missyginct

Was chosen by Kathy, who says, “I love the mix of color on this layout and how all of the embellishments are clustered around the photo, acting as a gorgeous frame!"
Angie says ALL these elements work so BEAUTIFLLY together!
Egle likes how all of the elements / embellishments frame the adorable picture on this layout.
This layout totally calls to Karin, because of its funky, fun, vintage feel. The colors are amazing and the bling is just the right touch :)
Angela thinks all the details on this layout are stunning! Everything works so well together and showcases the photo nicely.

BEAUTY by BeatrizS

Was chosen by Angie (nun69).  Angie picked this layout because it is simply STUNNING...she LOVES how the focus is the photo and how very few elements were used, just enough to make it STUNNING.
Egle likes the bling under the top corner of the frame. It adds the right sparkle.
Karin agrees with Angie - this layout is simple, but incredibly powerful! Simply stunning!
Sus loves the simplicity of it, that highlights the picture and she loves the sunburst on the top left corner.
Laura F thinks the photo is amazing. She loves how the softness of the layout goes with the sweet, slightly blurred photo.
Jess thinks this layout has just the right amount of embellishment... just enough to enhance but not take away from the beautiful photo.

SINGING IN THE RAIN by Jimena

Was chosen by Egle (FairyMouseMom) who thinks the use of circles here is neat...in the journalling...the shape of the pictures...and the circle being used as part of the background.
Laura F. thinks this photo is perfectly gorgeous! She also loves the fun embellishments used on this layout!
Janell exclaims, "This is SO adorable! I love the circular text, and clustering of cute elements. The repeated picture is precious!"
Cindy just loves the circles and the color blue used here. The raindrops are the perfect embellishment as is the little blue bird...very fun layout!

FARMING OUT THE KIDS by Jakey

Was chosen by Karin (mayerkt), who thinks this layout stood out of the crowd because of all the fun patterned paper, and the great use of multiple photos!
Angela says that she loves the way different sized photos are used together for this layout. She also loves the chicken accents. ;)
First off, Sus thinks the title is adorable!! She loves the mixes of patterned paper and the roosters are funny!!
Beth thought it was great how multiple photos were used on the page.
Jess thinks all the patterns on this layout are so fun! The chickens and birdhouse add a nice touch of whimsy too!

Was chosen by Angela (bluejeans7). This layout caught Angela's eye right away.  She says, “The whole layout is adorable, from the sweet photo to the layers of awesome papers!!”
Sus loves the torn and inked edges and the title and picture are so sweet and adorable. Great layout!
Beth thinks the photo is so sweet and she loves all of the layering and distressing on the page.
Jess says, "What fantastic distressing on this! I love all the curled edges and inking, plus great colors and that adorable photo? Love it!"
Kristianne says, "the two large flowers balance the darling photo perfectly and I adore that bow grounding the photo to the layout."

Laura F is impressed by this great design! Leslie has awesome journaling surrounded by sweet details! Love the brad trail behind the bee!
Beth loves how Leslie includes heartfelt journaling on each and every LO. Her words always tell the story perfectly. She also loved the photo angles, combination of products and the entire page design.
Jess loves this paper line and all the interesting ways lilkoala3 makes use of it. The folded ribbon adds dimension and of course the bee's flight path is adorable!
Kristianne says, "A great look is accomplished by using super thin strips of coordinating paper to journal on! I also love the way she combined both horizontal and vertical elements to give her fun layout movement."

Was chosen by Diana (dianagirly) who picked this layout for it's fabulous color combination and adorable patterned papers. The multiple photos and journaling around the design really add to the "fun."
Beth loves that the layout conveys a fun feel through the design and the photos. The happy colors and randomly placed embellishments add up to a fun page.
Jess says, "The patchwork look of this layout is really cute. I like that the lines are skewed but the overall design is reined in by the straight lines of the journaling frame."
"This is such a fun way to display an everyday photo shoot with the kids. I really like how the photos are B&W so as not to compete with the colors and patterns of the papers,” says Kristianne.

EASTER 2006 by Hlg1rose

Was chosen by Laura Fiore.  Laura loves Helene’s very linear style, which makes the layout feel completely organized-then she throws in bright, fun colors and sweet elements to make it fun!
"It's darling how she used the buttons and flowers and repeated the pattern of threes! I also love all the fun pictures and little Easter cluster in the corner," says Janell.
Cindy loves the straight lines on this one because it keeps the layout neat and the photos are the center of it all, yet is has awesome added little details in between which really make it POP.
Sara says: "Excellent job bringing several photos onto one page."
Kathy says, "I really like the blocked photos here with the flower embellishments - loving all of the buttons!"
Angie LOVES the little flowers with button centers!
Egle loves the use of the Spring/ Easter colors here as well as the button flowers.
What a bright colorful layout! Angela thinks that the design works well to be able to scrap so many photos and still look great!
Sus loves the flower cluster at the bottom with the bunny and how she matted all the photos! Great job!
Jess really likes the way the white borders ground all the bright spring colors on this layout. She got a lot of photos on here and the layout is still clean and lovely!

Laura explains, "This layout is the classic, blocking style that makes it easy to pull a layout together, but the fun, little embellishments add to the overall cozy, family personality.
Ronny likes the fun colors and organized nature of this layout. There are a lot of photos but it is very well put together. My favorite parts are all of the flowers with the button centers. Beautiful!
