October Guest Paper CT Reveal

It's October already and A Cherry On Top would like to introduce our new Guest Paper CT!  Please welcome emarie803!  Emily got to work with the new SEI Winter Song line.  Check out the wonderful layouts she did with this line and learn more about her!  Congrats again Emily!

Family members:  Bf- Cal, his 5yo DS- Holden, a.k.a. Munchkin, who we have on a part-time basis, plus my mom, dad and little sis aren't too far away!

Pets:  Sadly, none of my own, but my parents Min Pins, Max and Mindy, are just like my own and have been the subject of many a LO

Birthday:  August 3

Favorite television show?   I can't pick just one: CSI, CSI:New York, 48 Hour:Mystery, NCIS, Amazing Race, Firefly (even though it has been cancelled for years now), and when I'm really in the mood for some craziness I watch Bridezillas on WE TV- it's my little guilty pleasure!

Favorite movie?   Of all time? That's a hard one, I have a lot of movies that I love...I'll go with all the Harry Potter moves (runners up include Nightmare Before Christmas, the original 3 Star Wars, LOTR trilogy, Underworld, and A Walk to Remember)

Name 3 of your favorite candy bars.  Snickers, Twix, and a nice dark chocolate Ghirardeli bar!

Name 3 musical artists you enjoy.  Linkin Park, Bon Jovi, StainD

Favorite (NSR) store to shop?   Either Kohl's or Target

Favorite (NSR) magazine publication?  The Hockey News

Name 2 of your favorite colors.  Teal and purple

Favorite thing to do with your family?   For my household it would be going to hockey and lacrosse games. Including my parents and sister, getting together for games and dinner.


Favorite thing (non-scrap related) to do without your family?   Take a bubble bath. It would be kind of awkward for them to be in there while I am.

What's your favorite scrapping tool to use when scrapbooking?   My ATG gun. I love that thing! Seriously, I don't know how I scrapped without it!

Name 3 of your favorite SB companies/lines.   Fancy Pants Designs, My Little Yellow Bicycle, and the 3rd is a toss-up between Prima, Bo Bunny, and Jenni Bowlin

Name 3 of your favorite embellishments to work with.   Flowers, brads, and more flowers!

What are your favorite adhesives?   My ATG gun and glue dots

What is your top two fave holidays?   Christmas Eve and Christmas! Seriously that is my favorite time of year!!

What's the one thing you must have readily available when you sit down to scrap?   Space! I spread out so much when I scrap that I can easily take up a table that is supposed to seat 4 by myself.

What would you like the ACOT members to know about you?   I am so excited to have chosen as the GCT for Oct! I love ACOT and have made many friends, some who I have lucky enough to have met IRL!! This place has been a constant source of friendship and inspiration over the past few years and I am so glad that I found it!!

Em says,  "I had a lot of fun with SEI's Winter Song line. The color combo is what drew me to it (that and the fact that I still had some winter photos from 2007 to scrap). I punched the snowflakes out of the glittered top of the paper with the deer and trees."

"This line also worked well with some photos of my friend Allie's little girl, Jordan, that were taken in 2007."

"And last, but not least, in honor of the start of the 2009-2010 hockey season, this line worked well with some of my hockey photos! The light blues and white reminded me of the ice and the red is found in both of these teams!"
