September Paper Creative Team Spotlight

Along with Fall, change is in the air!

With the beginning of our new Creative Team members and a larger team, we have decided to make a few changes to our Creative Team Spotlight! From now on, look for two Creative Team spotlights each month...one from the paper team, and one from the digital team! What hasn't changed at all, is just how much we love perusing the gallery looking for outstanding layouts from you! That being said, here are our spotlight layouts for this month!

My Family by Licious

Was chosen by Beth-W.Beth picked this layout because of the amazing design, fantastic color scheme, and all of the details on this page. She also thought the way the chipboard buttons were attached on the bottom of the page was very clever.

I Want My Mama by lilkoala3

was chosen by Angela (bluejeans7), who says, "As always Leslie blows me away with her mad journaling skills. You can always tell that she speaks the truth and speaks from her heart. But the journaling is not the only thing that is great about this layout. Leslie did a scraplift to make her layout but she took the design and made it her own. Beautiful layout!"

Clownin' Around by boysmama

Was chosen by Sarah A. Sarah chose this layout because she liked how the black inking and stitching really made everything jump off the page. She also liked the design that fit all of the photos on one page and the fun flower embellishments.

All American Boy by Teaching_Angel

Was chosen by Dianedi. Diane thought this beautiful layout just popped right out in the gallery! She loved the design, each and every perfectly placed embellishment and how all of the layers were enhanced by the white background. The added dimension of the stars, ribbon and scallop trim are perfect touches! Fabulous work!

Isle Maurice by Desire

Was chosen by Laura Fiore, who says, "The fun calendar look of this page allowed her to use lots of photos and details! Such a bright happy layout!"

Mrs. Wells by scrapsakes

was chosen by Susan (suslvsgeo), who says, "I have always loved Grace's work but I truly love how she used this Basic Grey for a school photo. The flags are marvelous and the splash of blue really draws the eye!"

Teething Bites by skinnimini

Was chosen by Cindy (kimandasmo) because she was immediately drawn in by the big circles. She loves the colors because the pictures just pop on them and the embellishments are too cute. The title is perfect as well!

I Got You Under My Spell by reaster

Was chosen by Pam (4peasinourpod). We all know that Pam ADORES Halloween , and this project totally blew her away! The paper choice is incredible, and the stacking boxes are perfectly coordinated. Both projects are amazing!

Owl Love U.... by  jenniwren32

Was chosen by Jess (ScrapGoo), who says, "This little album is so rich with color and texture! I always love what jenniwren32 does with her altered projects but this one is fantastic. The detail in the repeated circles, paper piercing, stitching, and layering all adds so much depth to this sweet cover. This is just gorgeous!!"

Its A Girl by JanetM

was chosen by Jules (julesinparadise). Jules says, "her journaling knocks my socks off. She writes like a poet and with such meaning."

Sticky Stuff by Bernadette

Was chosen by Megan (megamay). Megan loves so many things about this page by Bernadette. She loves the tons of wonderful photos, and the rows of buttons along with all the various little details. It just all comes together so beautifully!

Thomas-Spring08 by crisdam

Was chosen by Juliana. Juliana just loves all the fun paper piecing details...that tree is just the most adorable thing ever!!! And she really loves how Isabel created the outside frame for the layout. It is a truly fun and whimsical layout with so many cute and clever details! Take a few minutes to look it over and search them out for yourself!

Laura Fiore has been scrapbooking since her kids were little and now they're mostly grown up! She loves using layers of patterned paper and swears she coudn't live without her edge distresser. Laura has been published several times in Scrapbook Trends magazine and idea books, in the Fabulous Friendships Idea Book from Memory Makers, and in Layout Blueprints 2. She is on the design teams for Magistical Memories and Scrapping the Music challenge blog. This November, Laura will celebrate 21 years of marriage to her husband Vic. Her daughter Jessica is in her second year of college, and her baby boy Nick is a Senior in high school. Running is a huge part of Laura's life...she's completed 11 marathons and is now coaching a marathon team for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. She also teaches fitness classes at her local gym.
