As digital scrappers it can be easy for us to get in the habit of just using one kit to complete a layout. Well lets face it, everything we need is already neatly tucked into the kits we purchase and download. It is so easy. However, it can be fun to add some extra bits from other kits for an unexpected pop of color, texture or style.
Check out what the creative team have done with these layouts using 4 or more digital kits.
Happy Housewives by Laura (Art_Teacher)
Laura says "my cousins and I as we helped clean out my Grandma's home last fall.
The reveal this time was to mix and match a variety of kits. When I have a photo with alot of color, I find mixing and matching one of the best ways to "accessorize" the photo. I often use several kits by the same designer, because the items are often done in the same style and so they fit together better."

Fall by Sara (Keling)
Sara says "I tend to use just one kit when I create a layout, mostly because, well, why go looking for other stuff when you've got a kit full! Anyhow, in spite of my laziness, this wasn't too hard! Once I picked a colour scheme, it made it much easier to mix and match kits."

We Be Clubbing by Jennifer (sarahwhithers)
Jennifer has such a great style when she mixes kits. You can see in her layout just what a fun look you can get when you mix elements from kits with a different theme and style.

One Dad, One Mom, Two Monsters by Sarah (davsar)
Sarah's layout shows off a great clustering technique with fun colorful elements from different kits. The different elements grouped around the photo act as a frame.

Punkydoodle and You! says "this week's reveal is all about using multiple kits to create one layout. I used to always use 3 or more kits, but then time got tight and found the ease of using just one kit because everything coordinated. However when I have a little extra time it's fun to use several kits especially when you need a contrasting paper or element for a little extra 'pop.'"

Fall is Football by Karin (mayerkt)
Karin's layout is another great example of how mixing different style kits can work beautifully on a layout. Karin used color to unite all the pieces of her design so she would not have a busy, muddled look.

Fall Fun by Shannon (-Shannon-)
Shannon shows off her use of multiple kits with this layout about her niece and nephew. All the elements work great together even though each kit she used is from a different designer with a different style.

Chillin' by Angie (nun69)
Angie puts it best with "so this week's reveal is all about mixin' up kits and I love to do this! sometimes Ijust can't find everything I need in 1 kit."
