Basic Grey Oliver 9 comments
I totally love this line!!Posted by bluejeans7 Previews of the Basic Grey Oliver line send my heart pounding and my mind racing. I wanted this line...............I NEEDED it! I tend to lean more towards boy lines and colors when I scrap. I think it's because I have so many pictures of my son but also because neither my daughter or myself are really "pink" girls. LOL! Anyway the Oliver line was perfect and I wanted it. I dug into my CT package as soon as I got it. This line is even better in person and I had so much fun with it. It is a "baby boy" line but you can do so much more with it.
For my first layout Sweet Baby Of Mine, I had to scrap a baby photo of Erik when he was only five weeks old. After all the BG Oliver is a baby boy line.
On my second layout I jumped ahead in time to August of 2009 with my layout Is There Anyone Cuter Than Me? To answer the title question, for this mom no there is no one cuter than my little man.
I had to scrap a Father's Day layout next. On the layout Our Dad I picked the pattern papers that best complimented my black & white photo. I used the teal and black mini letter stickers from October Afternoon on the quote. Once again this is another product that matches the BG Oliver line. I love both the Bloomers and Stitched Brads in the Oliver line and I decided to use both on my layout. Both add just the right touch.
I saved the Grey X & O Doilies laser cut paper for my last layout Moments With Dad. The laser cut paper is awesome!!! I layered it on a sheet of Maraschino Bazzill cardstock. Then I punched one of my photos with a 3" circle punch and layered it over the edge of my 5x7 photo. I hand cut my stars from my leftover paper scraps, doodled a quick border and added a button to them. This last layout was fun, quick and easy!
