Dear Lizzy Enchanted 8 comments

I'm an Elizabeth Kartchner fan, so I was pretty excited to get to work with one of her latest lines with American Crafts this month- Enchanted! It is a pretty, girly, frilly line and I really ended up LOVING everything I made with it this month!

This is Magical
Enchanted is full of butterflies and flowers, which I thought was perfect for this photo. I used one of the busy patterned sheets as a background, then layered matching cardstock sprayed with brown Maya Mist. I used a large Jenni Bowlin rub-on butterfly and topped it with a rhinestone brad from the brad pack. I layered some butterflies punched from the patterned papers, used a ticket for a little journaling and the title is from the rub-on package.

Meeting Grandma
This line also reminded me of baby girls. I started scrapping after Quinn was born, and every once in awhile, I'll go back and scrap some of her baby photos. I cut the embossed flowers and butterfly from the Graceful Swan paper and layered them on the page with my photo, several of the journaling tickets and a strip of matching cardstock. I added a few of the pearl brads from the brad package and some of the new Thickers from this line, too!

Happy Day
I really loved the laser-cut paper that was in this line- especially this piece with the birds, butterflies and flowers that I knew was perfect for this photo of my friend's wedding. It is blue, but with the pinks and browns in the photo, I decided to turn it over and spray it with brown Maya Mist. I layered that piece on matching  brown cardstock, then used several of the pink papers that went perfectly with this photo. I punched more butterflies from the solid side of one of the papers, then layered more brads (including the rosette brad- how cute is that?!) and a few more journaling tickets with the Mix Tape. A few journaling strips and another color of the Thickers finished this layout.

Birthday Card
So, can you tell I couldn't get enough of those journaling tickets? There are a TON of them in the package! They're so  pretty and come in several different patterns and sizes that there was something in that box for every project I did this month! I used 3 of them fanned out on this card and sprayed them with pearl Glimmer Mist. I broke out the ol' deco scissors to cut the flowers, then added them on top.

I'm sure you can find some photos to use with this line- there are so many fun possibilities! With all of the great embellies, you can certainly come up with a holiday gift or two... or ten with this line as well.  Happy Crafting! :)
