Designing with Sweet Digi Scraps 4 comments
Posted by Smiley-Scrap8 When it comes to Liz (Sweet Digi Scraps) I find myself with so much to say, I just don't know where to start. Her shop is packed of kits which not only vary widely in theme so you can scrap any photo you want, but they also combine so well together if you want to mix and match, it's a piece of cake. Her kits include a great mix of everyday moments to frilly and girly to rough and tumble boy and lets not forget the cool alphabets and awesome templates, it's really anything you could want all in one place. Take a moment to check out these layouts that the CT have created with her designs, then head over to her shop, you won't be sorry. First let me show you the layouts that were created with some awesome templates. My Apple! by Laura (Art_Teacher) Laura made this layout her own with a few small changes to the template. Don't you just love how the colors in the kit bring out the photos? Natural by Ronny (Smiley-Scrap8) Ronny used this template to really show off her photos by using vertical frames instead of the given horizontal ones and adding a journaling circle. Mother's Day 2011 by Janell Janell's use of this template is amazing!! She says, "I LOVE Liz's kits, they are fun and easy to create a fantastic looking layout without having to reach for other embellishments from other kits. She's a one stop designer." These next layouts come from kits by Liz both old and new, either way you must agree that they really do make each memory shine. Me, Myself and I by Sandy (writerlady - Guest Digi CT) Sandy says, "I had the pleasure of creating a layout with this beautiful kit, Me, Myself and I by Sweet Digi Scraps. I can't believe how real the textures are in this kit. The paper, the flowers... it is so beautiful! I wanted a kit to use for a digital "book of me", and this is the one I chose. I highly recommend it - for the easy to use colors, beautiful elements and great word art." Sweet Baby by Jenn Kellams Name Calling by Jen (sarahwhithers) What Jen say's about Sweet Digi Scraps, "The Digi CT reveal this week is focusing on the fun designs of Sweet Digi Scraps! SO many kits with fun elements, fantastic colours and a great mix of papers! There's definitely s kit for everything in her store!" Is He Home, Yet? by Laura (Art_Teacher) Laura says, " I just love her color combinations, as well as all the detailed elements." Mario World Halloween by Janell Janell says, "I just adore this Halloween kit by Liz, again she has SUCH CUTE embellishment and the colors are bright and cheery--so fun to work with and easy to achieve great looking pages."
Warner Davis by Jenn Kellams Spring Bliss by Ronny (Smiley-Scrap8) Ronny says, "One of my favorite things about Liz's shop is that I can always find a kit to use with photos of my little man. He is a real boy and I sometimes struggle to find kits that are masculine enough for his photos. Liz's kits are just what I need, playful, young and perfect for an active little boy." Last but by no means the least are some awesome hybrid projects using Liz's kits that I just love! Geo Ball by Angie (nun69) Here is what Angie says about this project, "I decided to make a little table ornament for Sam's little Graduation party we are having next weekend. I recolored some of the papers in the kit to match Sam's school colors of purple and gold. I then hot glues the stick inside, put a ribbon around to hide the glue. then I embellished with some digital paper around the center and some paper scrapping supplies I had on hand!" Graduation Popcorn Box by Angie (nun69) Here is what Angie says about this project, "so I wanted something to go with Sam's little table decoration so I came up with this popcorn box and am going to fill it with some goodies {probably her airling ticket and park tickets to FL/Universal Studios/Disneyworld}....this template was super easy to use and I just changed the front and back{same template printed twice} and printed 1 of each....then I added a couple of paper flowers and brds and VIOLA!!!!!!!!' Here are some of the kits featured in this reveal:

Take a second to check Janell's layout in the gallery. She as able to make one of these layouts to highlight each one of her children in their costume for their own albums with very little extra work. What a special memory for each of them.
