Digital Pre-Made Albums Reveal 7 comments

See what YOU can do with them!!!

Posted by FairyMouseMom

Seeing how the digi scrapbooking designers have been putting out "albums" ACOT's Digital CT Members thought it would be a good idea to showcase them here for our reveal this week.  One of the main reasons we wanted to do this is to show you what else you can do with these pre-made / pre-designed pages!!!   You do not have to purchase them JUST to be used with the chipboard albums (for which they were designed).  Take a look to see how versatile they really are!

Goof Ball by davsar (Sarah), Digital Guest CT Member

Sarah says, "This was fun creating a layout with Melissa Wilson's Kitchen Curtains Badge Album.  The bright colors really played well with Brennan's goofiness!  I simply scaled the pages down and used them as frames. Then I added a few doodles to the pages and background. Pre-made cuteness!"

I would have to agree with Sarah!

Spring 2008 (left and right sides) by FairyMouseMom (Egle)

"Here I used two pre-made bracket pages and, instead of just printing them out to adhere to their specifically-created-for bracket albums, I copied them onto a 12x12 page and created a layout using them!  The products used here are by two digi / digital designers:  Victoria Greenlees and Amy Teets."

AbbyLou Who by nun69 (Angie)

Angie says, "This is another versatile way to use bracket album pages:  downsize them and add to a bigger layout and / or use one of the solid layouts included as a journaling template for your bigger sized layout."

Bubbles and Smiles by janello (Janell)

Janell says, "This was so fun to create using Victoria's (Greenlees') bracket album.  (It is) just like a quick page.  I added a few elements and, poof, it was done as simple as that.  I really like the bright colors in this album (as they are) perfect for Spring and Summer layouts!

My Little Son Flower by Keling (Sara)

Sara says, " I had never thought of using some of these mini album kits for the boards on my own pages, so this was great!  ....and I accented this layout with other embellishments."

Moments Together by MamaK321 (Kristianne)

Kristi says, "Using quick pages as part of a layout is a great way to stretch the use of your quick pages and also helps the scrapping go a little quicker!  I used a super cute circle quick page to fill a 12x12 layout, adding just a scalloped mat and inked background paper. So easy!"

To Tell Teacher by Mommybruno (Cassandra)

Cassandra says, "This LO was a lot of fun to put together. I used two pages from the Rainy Day Brag Book - for my photo and my journaling.  It was easy to coordinate them with the Rainy Day kit, and it looks like I did a bunch more work than I actually did!  I never thought of using pre-made album pages this way, but it does add a fun and easy element!

Mommy's Heart by Mommybruno (Cassandra)

Cassandra says, "This page came together very quickly, thanks to the heart-shaped album page by Amy Bleser!  All I had to do was pop in my picture, add a background paper, and two more hearts from the album.  Voila!  A quick but beautiful page in no time!  (This is) just another example of how album pages don't need to just be for albums alone - they are great page elements as well!"

1955 Buick by m1218p (Marci)

Marci says, "Our challenge this week was to use a quick page or album page. Actually I did this with one of my own bracket album pages the other day and thought I was brilliant or weird and wasn't sure which. So glad to see I was not weird. I enlarged a page from Chirpi's Mum's the Word Bracket Album to 8 x 8. I plopped it onto a background paper from the Mum's the Word kit, added a few embellishments (2 more flowers and the ribbon), a title, and some journaling. Voila'! A page in about 15 minutes. I may get all these photos from the classic car show scrapped yet!"

Birthday Boy by bamablue (Glenda)

Here are 4 of the 8 bracket album pages that Glenda made.  She took the pre-made pages and added them to 6x6 pages so that she could print out square-sized layouts and make them into a mini album for the birthday boy!  How cute are these?

Hopefully, we were able to showcase for you the variety of looks that one could get by using a pre-made album page....used either as such or added to a background paper with more embellishing on top of it.  Let us see what you can create with these yourselves...and add your layouts in A Cherry On Top's gallery.
