Disney Cricut Reveal Part 2 19 comments

Posted by Dianedi

Well, it is official! The plane tickets are bought and paid for and the resort is reserved. Our first official Disney vacation is right around the corner! The anticipation and excitement is just overwhelming. I've realized that the toughest part is keeping it from my kids. I thought about sharing my excitement only for a minute when I realized that they would be asking me every five minutes when we will be leaving. For now, I'm going to channel all of that excitement into creating pages and autograph books to store all of our memories!

I had so much fun creating Disney pages for my reveal last month that I decided to keep going! This month, I created pages for Chef Mickey, Minnie Mouse, 100 Acre Wood, and Ariel's Grotto. I've booked some of our dining reservations already so I created a few pages specific to our activities! About 90% of what you see on these pages was made with Bazzill Cardstock and the Cricut. I used the Mickey and Friends, Pooh and Friends, Dreams Come True, Limited Edition Easter, and Celebrations Cricut Cartridges. This month, I added patterned paper and stickers from Reminisce and Creative Imaginations, pearls, and stickles.

"100 Acre Wood"

To create this layout, I used the Pooh and Friends cartridge, Bazzill cardstock, Stickles in Platinum and Peeled Paint, and Prima Say it in Pearls. I cut the following elements:

  • Frame (pg 63) at 9" layering brown on black cardstock
  • Winnie the Pooh (pg 19) at 5.5"
  • 100 Acre Wood Sign (pg 56) at 3"
  • Honey Hive (pg 60) at 5.75"
  • Flowers (pg 27) at 3"
  • Butterfly (pg 24) at 2"

After layering and gluing all of the pieces, I added stickles to the flowers and Prima pearls to the butterfly.

"Chef Mickey"

For this layout, I started with a white cardstock background. I used the Creative Imaginations Magic Memories Scrapbook kit for a sheet of paper and title stickers. I used the Mickey and Friends, Limited Edition Easter, and Celebrations Cricut Cartridges. For the yellow doily background paper, I used the Limited Edition Easter Cartridge cutting the doily at 6".  For the rest of the page I cut the following using the Mickey and Friends cartridge:

  • Mickey Mouse (pg 79) at 8"
  • Mickey star (pg 78) at 4"
  • additional stars cut from Celebrations cartridge (pg 110)

"Minnie Mouse"

For this layout, I began with a white cardstock background and I added a sheet of Reminisce Disney paper. I used the Mickey and Friends, Limited Edition Easter Cartridge and Pooh and Friends Cartridge.    For the yellow doily background paper, I used the Limited Edition Easter Cartridge cutting the doily at 6".  I cut the following elements using the Cricut:

  • Minnie (pg 90) at 8"
  • Minnie heart (pg 88) at 4"
  • flowers Pooh and Friends Cartridge (pg 26) at 3"

"Ariel's Grotto"

This layout was created using the Dreams Come True Cricut Cartridge and Bazzill Cardstock. I created the following elements:

  • Clamshell (pg 31) at 9" using orange cardstock
  • Sebastian (pg 37) at 6" using black and 2 shades of red
  • Water swirls (p 42) at 2"
  • Leaf (pg 37) at 3"
  • Ariel title (pg 28) at 3.5"

Your layouts are out of this world. I go to Disney World at least once a year and seem to never catch up on my scrapbooking. I will definitely share these with my daughter. She will just love them too. We have the cricut cartridges and will gain inspiration from your layouts. Again, great job.
