Disney Cricut reveal 10 comments

Posted by Dianedi

Disney, Disney, Disney...that is all I've has been thinking about for the month of January! I'm in the midst of planning our first family trip to DisneyWorld. I continue to be amazed by the overwhelming amount of choices from resorts to activities to food. Who knew you needed to educate yourself in preparation for a vacation? I thought it only fitting for this month's reveal to focus on pages that I'll be able to use after our trip. If I've learned anything, it is that both preparing for a Disney vacation and creating Disney pages require one thing - patience.

The Cricut has always been my favorite scrapbooking tool. To create beautifully detailed Disney projects, the Cricut has so many fabulous licensed cartridges and all you need is cardstock! For this reveal, I've used the Dreams Come True, Tinkerbell and Friends, and the Storybook cartridges.

"Mrs. Potts and Chip"

For this layout, I've used only cardstock, the Martha Stewart garden trellis punch, stickles, and the Dreams Come True Cartridge. The base cardstock is black and the second layer is a pink cardstock which I've punched along the edges with the garden trellis punch. The focal point of the layout is the beautiful frame (pg 58 of the manual) cut at 10.5" using black, pink, purple, yellow, and green cardstock. Mrs. Potts and Chip were cut at 5" using black, white, yellow and purple cardstock. (page 52 of the manual) The additional cups, tea pot, and flowers were cut from page 57 of the manual. I've used platinum stickles on the purple flowers to add some sparkle.

"Magical"

One of my daughter's favorite Disney characters is TinkerBell! I couldn't do a Disney reveal without including Tink in one of them. For the background of the layout, I used the Martha Stewart Garden Trellis punch to create a border around 12"x12" black cardstock. Using the Tinkerbell and Friends cartridge, the title "Magical" is and the firework in the bottom right hand corner is cut with black and pink cardstock at 4.5". To create Tinkerbell, I used and cut black, blue, green, yellow and beige cardstock at 6.5". I added a sequin flower from Creative Charms for more sparkle and detail.

"Sunshine"

Although this layout isn't directly about Disney, I wanted to show the versatility of the Tinkerbell and Friends cartridge. The butterfly embellishment and title were both cut from this cartridge. For this layout, I've used only cardstock, the Tinkerbell cartridge, Martha Stewart floral vine punch, and a Creative Charms sequin flower.

"Be Our Guest" Card

This card was creating using both the Dreams Come True and Storybook Cartridges. Lumier was cut from black, yellow, white and red cardstock at 5" from the Dreams Come True cartridge. The scalloped ovals were cut at 4" and 5" from the Storybook Cartridge - page 50 in the cartridge manual. The title was cut using the letters from the Storybook cartridge at .75".
