I was so excited when I got to work with the Echo Park Little Girl line this month! With a 4 year old girl, I knew I'd have no problem using this line to pieces! The colors and patterns are just perfect for girly and baby photos. There are lots of cute stickers and cards included in this release- they make embellishing your layouts super easy!
Happy Birthday
There are so many pictures to scrap from a child's birthday! I decided to do a page of her opening gifts, so I chose 4 of my favorite ones, cropped them to 3x3 inches and arranged them on the side, leaving the other half of the page for the journaling strips. The candles were my favorite part- the idea came to me while lying in bed, as most good ideas do! Under the journaling strips, I placed 4 strips of paper for candles, outlined them with my white pen and coiled yellow baker's twine for the flames. The sticker sheet provided the ric-rac trim and the cute cupcake that I topped with a button. The "happy birthday" sentiment was cut from the card sheet.

Quinn's Book
This layout started witha sheet of Salt Bazzill cardstock- it has small raised polka dots in white, which are a fun change from the regular textured cardstock. I splattered a few coordinating colors of Maya Mist on the background, then added my paper on top. I added my photos, then used 3 of the bracket shapes trimmed from the cards sheet for my title and journaling. I made some little lollipop flowers by stacking 3 circles and topping them with buttons. The colors in this line are great for bright, summery photos- they're just so fun and cheery!

Big Sister
What's more girly than pink, purple, ruffles and hearts? Not much! I used a little bit of all of those things on this layout. To alternate the colors on the pleated strip, I cut 1 inch pieces of paper from the pink and purple cardstock in this line and folded each in half, then adhered to the layout. After that I stitched them down, just to be sure they were secured. Normally I use black or brown ink on the edges of my papers and photos, but with this line, I really liked using my white Uni-ball Signo. I also used it for a border around the page to tie it all together.

Baby Card
Even a girl line has some pieces you can pull to make a non-girly layout or project. I used some of the blue and orange papers to make this cute baby card for my nephew who will be arriving in a few months. I used a 2 inch circle punch and then cut a quarter of it out for the baby buggy, adding buttons for wheels. I just added a rub-on, some twine and the baby's first initial and a sticker for a quick card.
