Fancy Pants Designs Frosted 14 comments
It's more than just winter!Posted by 4peasinourpod I have a simple style. It works well for me...I love clean lines and a focus on the pictures. There are certain lines and manufacturers that I am drawn to design with, simply because of that. Fancy Pants Designs Frosted is one of them. The colors are so vivid, the patterns are clean and crisp, and although it is marketed as a "winter" line, it is versatile enough for other layouts, as well! As a member of the Creative Team here at A Cherry on Top, we are asked to create four layouts with the lines that we are assigned. I could not stop at four. I stopped at eight for this reveal, but I still have more layouts I plan on doing. That is how easy and inspiring this line of paper is! Here are my layouts... My first layout is of our house. I am slowly adding to my "Book of Me" and wanted to included a layout of our house. The paper was PERFECT for the snowy Wisconsin winter pictures that I had taken last year!
I often choose lines that are more "girly", as I have three daughters...this line was perfect for all the kids, even my son. He actually helped me with this layout! I also ordered the Bazzill that ACOT matches for you with each line. Here I use it for contrast to bring out the blue in Kendall's hat. I also used small splashes of striped paper to highlight her clothing, as well. I absolutely love this picture of Kiley in our front yard after a snowstorm, and could not wait to scrap it with these papers. The colors matched her winter jacket and snowpants so well! With a photo like this, I felt I only needed a few embellishments to enhance it, so I added some bling and a glittered snowflake on top of a flower. This is my favorite layout of my reveal. My children had a snow day while I was working with these papers, and Delaney and Kiley made a snow family. Here is Laney with her "Snow Delaney". It is simple, but I so wanted your eyes to see the picture and the sweet, proud look on her face! One more layout of Delaney...we got 11 inches of snow, and she kept on falling when she tried to walk through it. Each time she fell, she laughed harder. I couldn't wait to scrap with picture of that! The colors in this line are so bright and it is so easy to mix and match the patterns. My last layout is of Kiley and her "snow Kiley". i had fun matching the bold colors to her winter jacket and her hat! I urge you to go to the shop and add some of these amazing papers to your cart....you will LOVE them! Their versatility, amazing colors and patterns make them a joy to work with!
