I was so excited to see the mid-season releases from Fancy Pants. They're one of my favorite companies and they sure didn't disappoint this time! Wishful Thinking is such a pretty line- blues, pinks, greens, browns and creams in several great patterns had me scrapping as soon as I got this in my hands! Of course, they also have a strips and a card sheet which make journaling and layering super easy. If you're looking to scrap some girly, spring or summer photos, you need to put this line in your basket!
Mothers Day
The first thing I did when I got these papers was to cut out a few of the banners from the banner paper. I outlined a the triangles for a little definition and "strung" them in the top corner. I layered some papers behind the photo on the graph paper, which had a really pretty swirly flower design printed on it perfect for adding to the page with no effort from me! I made a cluster of flowers and stickers from the Elements Stickers sheet, then used the alphas for the title with a little added bling. I love the fun font of their new alphas! I used a 12 inch strip of the brown paper and folded it up and stitched it together on my machine for a fun ribbon look, too.

Pixie Dust
These papers have the perfect colors for your flower or garden photos! I first used a green sheet as the background, then cut cardstock a bit smaller and sprayed the upper corner with green and pink mist to match my photos. I used a bracket shape cut from one of the cards and a few stars from the sticker sheet to layer with my title alphas. I cut flowers from the Darling paper, then layered some rolled paper flowers on top of that in the lower corner. The final touch was my journaling about Quinn planting flowers in her Tinkerbell nightie, which I'm sure means the flowers will grow beautifully! :)

Princess Party
Our local elementary school is having a Princess Camp this summer, but sadly, we're going to be on vacation those days. I decided we could have our own princess party, so I made some plans, invited my mom and made some decorations. We had such a fun time (Quinn especially!) and I was sure to take lots of photos. Since I use 3-ring albums, I usually don't like to do 2-page layouts since they don't sit side by side, but I did try to make the pages somewhat coordinating. I used the subtler patterns and colors of papers. I also carried over the scallops, pearls and lots of Pearl Glim mer Mist on to both pages. When I say I used the Pearl Mist, I really mean it- I totally saturated the pages and they have a beautiful sparkle to them, but unfortunately, sparkle just doesn't photograph well, so you can't really see it. But, if you're looking to add a subtle sparkle to your projects, this is the perfect mist for you- I think it's my all time favorite Glimmer Mist!

Welcome Card
I also made a card by cutting out more flowers from the Darling paper. I really love ledger prints, and this line had several. I used the ledger print from the Darling paper, as well.
