Happy Valentine's with K&Company! 8 comments

Posted by bluejeans7

I am not sure why but I love to scrapbook Valentine's Day photos.  I worked with the K&Company Valentine's Day 2011 line and loved it!  I am not a big pink person, and there is pink in this line but there is also red, which I love.  You have your choice of three different paper packs, all are loaded with tons of awesome paper.  And the embellishments.........wow!  So many different kinds to pick from: stickers, 3D accents, chipboard pieces, decorative pins, rub-ons, bling, stitched accents, borders and more!

Love You 4Ever:  On this layout I used three different pattern papers, all the paper were double-sided in the paper pack I used.  I cut a big heart and a strip with a funky border, then inked and machine stitched on them.  Then I layered them on my background paper along with my photos.  The panda I cut out of an old Valentine's day card but I wanted to add some dimension to him so I added a chipboard heart and a 3D layered cupcake.  The title also came from the Chipbox and Icon Layered Accents packages.

P.S. I Love You:  Layers and layers of fun pattern papers, that is how I like to scrap.  I even had fun layering some of the chipboard and 3D hearts on this layout.  I also used another foil border and the three hearts on a string (below the photos) are out of the stitched adornments package.

My Funny Valentines:  This was a fun layout to do.  My kids always have to have at least a couple silly, weird, crazy photos for every photo shoot.  LOL!  I paired one of "those" photos with two normal photos.  smiley   I loved the foil borders in this line, they are so awesome and ........shiny.  All the hearts came from the Valentine's Day Layered Accents package.

Gimme Me A Kiss!:  Yes these photos were taken on Valentine's Day but that doesn't mean it has to "scream" Valentine's.  Marissa was trying to steal a kiss from Erik and he resisted...... at first.  I love the green pattern paper in my paper pack and decided to use it for this layout.  And in the stitched adornments and layered accents packages I found some cute lips, "free kisses" ticket and flowers.  All went perfectly with my photos and title.
