 How to make Hand Sanitizer - Lotion Boxes 1 comments
Posted by kbuck092207 In this tutorial, you will learn how to make these adorable boxes that contain small bottles of hand sanitizer or lotion. These make a perfect gift for Valentine's Day and are simple to make!
Supplies you will need:
Step 1: Cut a piece of cardstock to 7" x 4 1/2". I will be using a white piece of cardstock in these first few steps as a template to show you where to cut and score your cardstock. Step 2: Use your scoring board to score cardstock at: 1 3/4", 3 1/4", 5" and 6 1/2". See template in the below photo for reference.
Step 3: Turn cardstock around and score along bottom edge at 1". See template in Step 4 photo for reference. Step 4: Using your scissors, trim on each score line ONLY up to the 1" score line along the bottom. Cut out the small rectangle in the bottom right corner ONLY. See template in the photo below for exact cutting instructions.
Add a strip of red sticky tape to the side of your box as shown in the photo. Step 5: Fold along all score lines. Remove adhesive backing and adhere box together on long side. Your box is starting to come together and should look something like this:
Step 6: Apply adhesive to bottom tabs of box and adhere together to close up on the bottom.
Step 7: Cut piece of patterned paper to 7" x 2 1/2". Use ATG adhesive to adhere to outside of the box by carefully wrapping it around.
Step 8: Stamp your image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Color in with some colored pencils and blend with Blender pen.
Step 9: Punch out stamped image using circle punch. Layer on additional punched circles to add dimension.
I used the following circles punches in this project: 1 /2", 1 3/8", 1 1/4"
Step 10: Finish off the project by tying ribbon around the box and adhering your stamped image.
Step 11: Add small bottle of hand sanitizer or lotion & gift to your favorite person for Valentine's Day!
