Imaginisce Tools 6 comments

i*rock and i*tool

Posted by 4peasinourpod

I love new tools.

I know some of you are laughing...but some of you are reading this, shifting in your chair, and knowing EXACTLY what I mean,  EXACTLY.  When those new tools come out, you covet them.  Well, that is me.  So, when I saw the new tools from Imaginisce, the i*tool, and the i*rock, I decided to try them for a reveal!

To be perfectly honest, the first i*rock that I got from ACOT was defective, but the company was perfectly upfront with me, and replaced it immediately.  The replacement was perfect, and I learned to LOVE that tool!

The examples I made include both tools...and there are many videos on the internet that show you how to use them.  Here are a couple of my favorites...

i*top

i*rock

The i*rock was my favorite of the two tools...it easily adds bling without having to use adhesive.  The bling already has glue on the back, and when the heat is applied to the top of them, they adhere to the page.  In this layout, I added just a small amount of bling, but in the following frame, I did a LOT, and it only took seconds.  If I would have had to glue the jewels individually, it would have taken forever!  In this layout, though, you can see the difference in the type of bling.  There is rhinestone around the photograph, and pearls on the mushroom.  I love both styles!

Here is my manufacturer challenge layout that also has subtle uses of the bling, both the pearls and the jewels.

This frame uses both tools.  The middle is decorated with i*rock jewels, and the push pins use the i*top brad maker.  This tool is capable of making different sized brads, magnets, and pins.  It comes with a small and medium size heads, and a larger size is available for purchase.  The brads (or pushpins!) on this frame are the large and the medium.

One of things that I LOVE about the i*rock is that I can use it on fabric.  This is going to make me the best mom on the block, as I will be able to decorate canvas bags like this one, bling a jacket, a backpack...or just about anything!

Lastly, here is a card I made with some leftover Jenni Bowlin supplies.  This shows the i*tool brads that I covered with paper that matches the background!  These are large and small brads.

Lastly, Imaginisce makes it easier to use the i*top tool...as they provide two type of "templates"...either punches or plastic that you can trace.  This takes the guessing out of the size of paper or fabric that you need.  I HIGHLY recommended the small punch, and the other traceables.  I did have a few issues when I first attempted to make the brads, and the punch made using the smaller size MUCH easier.

I hope you enjoy these tools!
