Kollage by Kay, our featured digital designer this month, offers products that help you preserve your memories in an artistic and vintage style. You can see by their terrific reveal layouts, that the Digital Creative Team enjoyed working with this style. We also asked Kay a few interview questions about herself and her design expertise.

1. How long have you been digitally designing?

I began designing digitally in 2004.

2. How did you get your start in designing?

My very first kit was a freebie for Scrapbook-bytes. Then Julie Mead asked me to join her Boutique in 2005.

3. From what/where/who do you get inspiration?

My inspiration almost always comes from putting together a collection of colors. That sets the mood and the theme follows.

4. Are there any upcoming products you can tell us about? Any hints?

My next kit features guy colors blue, greens and browns and another kit will spotlight sleepovers for girls.

5. What are your goals as a designer for this year?

My goals as a designer for 2010 is to develop my art journal style to express digitally

And just for fun....

1. What are you planning to do over summer?

Summer for me is time with my grandchildren, doing lots of reading and a bit of travel. I have my eye on the Grand Tetons.

2. What was the last tv show you've seen?

The last TV show I watched was Top Chef Masters. I can't imagine creating such food masterpieces.

3. What color do you feel best describes you at this moment?

The color that best describes me at the moment---Dreamsicle orange---playful, creative, creamy, dreamy, and ready to explore.
