Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight! 8 comments
Posted by bluejeans7 If you are anything like me then you struggle with scrapbooking all of those Christmas photos. I think there are a couple different reasons why I have such a hard time scrapbooking my Chirstmas pictures. First of all I take so many photos I get overwhelmed and just don't know which photos to start with. Second Christmas is such a busy time of the year and it always takes me forever to get the photos that I have taken uploaded and ordered that I swear by the time I'm getting my photos in the mail it's almost Christmas time again! LOL! But never fear the Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight line is a true delight to work with! The colors, patterns, designs and embellishments of this line are amazing and so easy and fun to use. I opened my CT package as soon as I got it in the mail. All of my layouts just came together so fast, I had them done in just one day. So if you need to get some Christmas photos scrapped I totally recommend the LYB Christmas Delight line! One helpful tip to getting your layouts done faster is to use sketches. For my reveal layouts I used some awesome sketches from PageMaps!
They Are My Christmas Joy: On my first layout I started with the Crabapple Dark Bazzill cardstock, which I found listed under the cardstock tab for the LYB Christmas Delight line. ACOT matched this cardstock perfectly with these papers! The "joy" from the dimensional stickers package was the perfect choice to finish my title and I layered it on top of one of the pretty chipboard snowflakes.
Waiting For Santa: I love the design of the Christmas Morning paper, there is a cute little Christmas tree on the bottom corner and I couldn't wait to add some KaiserCraft pearls on it. LOL! Another thing I loved about the Christmas Morning paper was that the lighter background was great for the clear stickers, they showed up perfectly.
Christmas Time Is Family Time: This next layout has quite a few different kinds of embellishments from the LYB Christmas Delight line. The "Christmas" from my title is one of the chipboard words and it's also foil accented. The Christmas tree sticker is one of the awesome dimensional stickers and the snowflakes are from the chipboard die cut shapes package. I used one of the journaling die cuts layered under my photos and topped it with the date cardstock sticker.
Unwrap The Fun: As you can see for this layout I turned the PageMap sketch on it's side. I love how there is so many different sizes in the journaling die cut package. On this layout I used one of the larger ones for my journaling and one of the smaller circle ones for my date.
No More!: On my last layout I used lots of different layers of the beautiful pattern papers. These papers are amazing, double-sided and the quality is awesome. Don't you just love this chipboard tree? It's hard to see online but it is glitter accented, all of the chipboard shapes are. And I added the KaiserCraft pearls to my tree.
