Ad Inspiration Challenge - By MamaK321 (Kristianne)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
Ad inspiration is about taking ideas, such as colors, patterns, title or keywords, theme, font styles, and element placement, and using them to create your own layout. You can break the ad inspiration down to a basic sketch, copy a prominent design straight from the ad, or you can alter a design to fit your own layout. Most ads are 8.5x11" but you can adapt the ad to fit any size. Remember, this is not a sketch and you are not required to follow every detail. The key is to really LOOK at the ad and find the pieces that INSPIRE you!

Re purposing Glass Containers
Everyone has bottles around their house. If you are a Prima flower lover like me, you probably have several of the different shaped ones half filled with little pretties and, once those are gone, what to do with those oh so cute bottles. Many of us have mismatched glasses as well as a variety of bottles just sitting on shelves. This month, I challenge you to decorate those bottles using left over scrappy and craft supplies. These re purposed glasses make great gifts filled with bath salts or candy.

I will be offering a class on re purposing these glass containers during the upcoming November crop as well as offering this challenge to you now.

Card Challenge - By bluejeans7 (Angela)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
Start with a least one plain chipboard shape. Next decorate your chipboard shape by painting it, doodling on it, covering it with paper, add bling, or glitter, etc. Then use your "designed" chipboard shape as an accent on your card. The card can be any theme you wish to make. I can't wait to see your beautiful chipboard accents!
Here's a close-up of my chipboard flower covered with Glimmer Mist and accented with gems:

Color Challenge - by Art_Teacher (Laura)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
Autumn is in full-swing, but I'm not ready to give up Summer! However, Daylight Savings Time is upon us, and the days are getting shorter. For this month's color challenge, the color combination is inspired by both Summer and Autumn. As I was looking through my gallery, I was surprised how often I find myself falling back on these colors. Pairing green and brown lends itself to natural photos, but you can find they go very well together for all sorts of themes. Let's see how these two colors bring out the natural beauty of your layouts! You may use other colors as accents, but at least 75% of your layout should be green and brown.
Here are my examples, featuring my fuzzy friend!

Countdown Challenge - By sarahwhithers (Jennifer)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
For this challenge you will create a layout using a countdown method of items. I will list five different kinds of things (eg. elements, papers, photos) for you to use in your layout. Every month there will be five new items for you to use.
5 - Numbers
4 - Cardstock or Solid Colored Papers
3 - Glitter Spots/Designs
2 - Photos with Actions or Altering
1 - Rub-on/Stamp
You are welcome to use more than these items (eg. 5 papers instead of 4 is fine) just as long as you meet the required list and numbers asked for each. A page example is seen below. Numbers can be in the title, journaling or anywhere on the page and the photo actions and altering can be an action, a filter, changing the color, writing on the picture, cutting a shape into the picture, anything that changes it from its original form.

November Faithbooking Challenge - Gratitude

Create a layout or project, paper, digital or hybrid, inspired by the theme of gratitude. If you can, use one of the following Bible verses or quotes, or another favourite along the same theme.
Colossians 2:6-7 ~ Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.
Psalms 92:1-2 ~ It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to Your name, Oh Most High; to declare your loving-kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness by night.
Psalms 95:1-2 ~ O Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to him with psalms!
Philippians 4:4-6 ~ Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
"Thou who hast given so much to me, give me one more thing - a grateful heart!" ~ George Herbert
"The optimist says, the cup is half full. The pessimist says, the cup is half empty. The child of God says; My cup runneth over." ~ Anonymous
"It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness." ~ Charles Spurgeon

We tend to see lots of pages about immediate family members but this month I want to see you scrap about your *extended* family. Let's see those people you may not see very often and who don't live in your house. I chose to scrap about my seeing my extended family at our first reunion!

Trends & Techniques Challenge - By Megamay (Meg)
Paper Scrapbooking
Lately Ive been seeing a lot of layouts with 'quilted', mosaic, or tiled elements. I love this look because it allows you to use a lot of patterns without being overwhelming and the quilted look can be very warm and homey for the fall. I like to stitch around the edges of my squares to give it that extra warmth, but you don't need to do that.
Here is an example of a layout that I created using various textures pieced together to create the background. This is my new favorite layout and I am really bummed that it doesnt look nearly as good here in the photo as it does in person.

Here is another example where I used the cover sheet from the Cosmo Cricket collection pack to create the strips. For this layout I used a sketch. In the sketch that background piece was all one piece of paper. That is a great way to get some tiling into your layout - take one larger area from a sketch and make that into your mosaic.
