This month our featured designer is none other than the incredible Kim Hill! Kim is another designer who has been with us since ACOT first began offering digital product. Enjoy the in depth Q&A below and a peek at some of her latest and greatest products.

1) How long does it take you to design a kit, from start to finish?
Well I used to be able to crank them out in a couple of days. But now with the kids' schedules and other things going on, it can take several weeks to finish it. I guess if I worked steadily at it, then it would be about 10-15 hours for one kit.
2) Which of your own products in your ACOT shoppe is your favorite?
My most favorite is the Printer Blocks Alpha. I found this old set of pressman's typesetting letters - a hodge podge of eclectic fonts - while browsing a local flea market. They were a bit pricey to purchase (about $80 for the set). But it was terrific to be able to be the first designer to use this in digital scrapbooking. And now to see several others following my lead makes me excited to see just how popular this item has become.
Least favorite?
Hmmmm - probably some of my older products. Maybe I should put them on clearance. LOL
3) What is your favorite holiday or season?
I love Christmas. Everything about it. From the decorations, to the smell of cookies baking, to the joy (and stress) of having extended family coming together. Now the cold and snow I could live without. LOL
4) If you could star in any movie or tv show, what would it be?
There's a BBC show called Merlin which was on here in the USA for a brief period. I really enjoy that genre for reading material and was excited to see it brought to TV. I think I could pull off playing Morgana with ease as her personality is quite similar to mine in that she is strong and brave, as well as a bit feisty.
5) Do you like cherries? What is your favorite cherry treat?
Yep - love cherries. I like to eat them fresh - no need to sweeten them up or bake them in a pie. Just plain for me thanks.
6) What is your favorite type of element to design?
I like creating all kinds of elements. I find metals to be the most challenging and for me that's a good thing. I always like a challenge. 
7) Can you give us a hint at an up and coming product that you are designing right now?
There is currently nothing on my design calendar as I'm doing some traveling and taking some personal time off for health reasons. But I will be back in full swing in time for some holiday kits to hit the cyber shelves sometime in November.
