One line...two ways 0 comments

Little Yellow Bicycle Savor

Posted by 4peasinourpod

Every once in a while, I love to do a reveal where I give two Creative Team Members the same line, and see how they create with it.  So, one day, when I was chatting with Janet and Jules, they offered, so I totally took them up on it!  If you know Jules, you know that her husband (that she lovingly refers to as "e"), is an amazing cook. I have had meals prepared by him, and she is SO right on!!  They also enjoy great food  (Don't we all?)  Janet is an amazing designer, as well, so I couldn't wait to see what they came up with!!!

Here are their layouts!

(jules narrative) When we were visiting the tiny town of Castlemora in Sicily, it was a damp and rainy day. We spotted a tiny restaurant perched on the side of a street and went in for a cappuccino to warm ourselves. We got that and so much more. Ricardo, the owner, treated us to a glass of the region's wine while he fixed our coffees and enticed us into trying what he promised "the best cannolis you will ever have"...and he was right!

 Jules commented:

My hubby does the best grilling and I am not sure what he adds in terms of spices and seasonings but he has promised to write the combination down on the tag that goes into the pocket I created with the apron. I'll give you all a sneak peek when he does. The Savor line by LYB is perfect for the cooking layouts I am doing for his Chef's album.

E does most of the cooking for Thanksgiving. This last year, he took our son-in-law (who had never cooked a turkey before in his life) and walked him through the steps to a perfect bird. And it was. No matter what my honey cooks, he does it with LOVE. The Savor papers and embellishments by LYB were perfect for this and several other layouts I am doing for his Chef's Album.

I love Janet's style, and this is her grandson Jonathon.  (He must be taking lessons from Jules' husband).  Isn't he adorable, and her layout amazing??

Janet's words:I love this new line by LYB and can't wait to use it more on my pages. The colors go so well and they embellishments are just wonderful.
This is my grandson Jonathon and he was a huge help last year, he really got into the baking for Christmas and was even a good sport when his little sister put her apron on him.
