Second Helpings 0 comments
Just Can't Get Enough of That Kit!!Posted by MamaK321 Raise your hand if you like second helpings (yummy desserts), coming back for more or even a little double dipping!! This is exactly the practice the Creative Team is celebrating in this reveal. Choosing a few of ACOT's "Oldies but Goodies" and even a few of those "How did that Kit get missed" kits each team member has created not one, but two, examples to show just how fun it is too keeping using a kit again and again and again
Showing off a few of her Hot Vegas Night pictures, Jennifer (sarahwhithers) used Sherri Tierney's fun and bright kit "Star Struck". She says, "For the digi reveal this week we were to take a "second helping" of one kit. Meaning you get to see two different pages using one kit!"
Ronny (Smiley-Scrap8) says, "This weeks reveal is all about getting the most from your digital kits, we made two layouts using one kit of our choice. I had a lot of fun with this because even though I chose a kit that was a boy theme I used it for 2 very different layouts, neither of which were about just a boy." And does she impress or what?!! She created both a Thanksgiving page and a bike page using Bella Gypsy's "Just the Guys" kit.
"I really wanted to play with something bright, especially with my son's recent birthday in mind, and the colors in MC Design's "Enjoy Life!" kit were perfect!" Sara's (Keling) Birthday Boy layout is most definitely bright, but then she turns around and uses this kit for a beautiful wedding page. Wow! Laura (Art_Teacher) says, "This week's reveal was a "second helping," showcasing a kit that may not be brand new, but merits a second look, with two layouts. Kay Eflin's (Kollage by Kay) "Oh My! Cherry Pie" kit is perfect here at ACOT, and is very versatile. I used it for this sweet Paisley layout and for a bright and cheery Christmas layout, as well."
"Who says you have to use a coffee themed kit for coffee???" asks Angie (nun69) "well look at these 2 great LO's I did with this very versatile kit by Bella Gypsy of Abby spending some time in the fall leaves." The rich turquoise of "Crisp Autumn Dawn" contrasts beautifully with the sweet pictures.
Janell (janello) uses Silvia Romeo's "Twilight" kit to create not only a beautiful baby girl layout but also a fun New Year's Eve invitation.
Jennifer (jjenni08) used the kit "Merry Christmoose" by Kandy Kane Creations. She loves this kit because of its fun twist on the traditional Chrismtas kits offered. It's also so versatile as she used it for a card and a layout!
Using a kit geared toward a grown-up girl, Sherri Tierney's "Time For Me", Sarah (davsar) highlighted one young man surrounded by sisters and one of her sweet little nieces.
