Every year, around November 1, people start to think about the upcoming holidays and start to count all of the blessings they are thankful for. The Creative Team at A Cherry on Top is no exception!

We are thankful for an awesome website where we can gather with other scrappers and friends.

We're thankful for Kristin and all of the behind the scenes people who work every day to give awesome customer service.

We're thankful for each other and this awesome obsession we share.

And we're thankful for you and the daily inspiration we get when visiting the galleries here.

 

Before our online crop last week, the Creative Team took a few moments to choose a few layouts that we are VERY thankful for!

 

Tracy (Icanhascherryontop) is thankful for LIFE is Beautiful by Momadee

She says: There is just so much to love in this layout. The photo itself is so sweet and the realism she achieved with her shadowing work is amazing! Combined with beautiful colors and textures, it's just an outstanding layout.

Cindy thinks the butterflies are just precious as are the colors and the sentiment of this layout.

Angie thinks the photograph is just STUNNING!

Laura M. says, "The colors on this are beautiful, I love how dimensional the butterflies are, and that precious photo puts a lump in my throat!"

Kathy says, "What a perfect photo to capture the moment - I'm loving the butterfly trail too!"

Laura F. is just in love with the calm and beautiful colors. The natural elements are just perfection for this theme!

Angela thinks the title is perfect for this layout. I love that photos and all the details.

Cassandra says, "That picture is so sweet, and I love the monochromatic scheme on this LO. The fluttering butterflies help to add movement and draw the eye into the page."

Jess thinks this mostly monochromatic LO is so airy and beautiful! The photo is touching and I just love the butterflies.

Sarah asks, "Can "graceful" be a word to describe a layout? Because this page defines graceful. The picture is lovely and I feel as if I could touch the butterflies."

Ronny says, "Simply perfect. I love the sweet b&w photos with the cool frame and the beautiful combo of natural elements and soft colors."

 

Pam (4peasinourpod) is thankful for Fall at Sutter Ridge by RitaS

She says, "I adore the colors the design and the photography of theis layout. It is pleasing to the eye, and that photo SHINES!"

Janell loves the raffia tucked in the corner and what a sweet little girl. This is a beautiful fall layout.

Diana loves how Rita accented her photo!

Sara says, "Wow! Love the rich fall colours, and the dimension created by simply folding the paper flowers!"

Karin says, "Love the title work here!! Cool type face and love the cirlce/seal type thingy!"

Diane loves all of the Scenic Route used in this layout! So many great details and I love the added sewing around the edges. Fabulous layout!

Tracy says, "This layout is jam packed with wonderful textures and patterns too. I'm particularly drawn to the intricate frame over her photo. The cutouts are so delicate, but provide a stunning compliment to the photo.
"

Cindy loves the colors and the layering on this. The embellishments add the perfect touch.

Angie says, "LOVE those paper flowers that are curved just enough to add great dimension!"

Kathy says, "Great design here - I really like how the flowers & the arrow frame the photo so well."

Angela says, "Wow, love the fall colors and all the paper layers. The added stitching to the papers is the perfect touch."

 

Cindy (kimandasmo) is thankful for The Adventures of Santa by Bernadette

She says, "this 2 pager by Bernadettte is amazing-- All of the photos she fits into her layouts always inspires me. the colors and all the little embellishments are just perfect."
Laura F thinks Bernadette is a fabulous scrapbooker...her embellishments are always abundant and amazing!

Laura M says, "Terrific layout with so many photos, but so organized. I really like the classic look of the black and white photos on the bright Christmas colors!"

Cassie says, "There's no one better than Bernadette at filling her layouts with photos and little details, and never making the page seem overwhelming. I could just look at this all day! Love that she kept the photos black and white."
 

Jess thinks Bernadette is a master at the multi-photo LO! This one is unified by all the black and white photos and coordinating colors.

Susan says, "I am just in awe of how many pictures she is able to use and yet still have room for all the special touches! Fantastic layout!"
 

Sarah sas, "So many fun elements on this page! This has given me several ideas I want to try out on my own pages."

Ronny thinks it's wonderful to include so many fun photos and have it look so organized and eye pleasing. Nice job.

Diane loves all of the fabulous photos and the small groups of embellishments used on the layout! Awesome job!

Kristianne says, "Such a great idea for a layout, I like the whole group each with their own photo with Santa. Despite the photos filling most of the page, she managed to fit in some perfect embellishments as well."

She says, "her blending is amazing and I LOVE the soft feel of her layout!

because of all the wonderful elements and the gorgeous color scheme! The nostalgic, vintage feel really pulls you in and every time I look at it, I see something new!

Cassie says, "Wow, beautiful! I love the colors on this, and the little photo charms. Great job with the layering and clustering!"

Jess thinks there is so much fabulousness to look at on this page! I love all the little clusters all the way around.

Susan says, "I really like the way multiple photos are used on this page. Sprinkled around the borders in different shapes. Really neat idea!"

Sarah loves the soft tones in the pictures and the intimate details highlighted in the charms.

Ronny says, "A beautiful layout, especially how the elements and photos run around the border of the page. A lovely soft feel with enough contrast to make the photos pop."

Laura F thinks the layering on this layout is just stunning! The soft, beautiful colors and detailed elements really make it a work of art!

because Lisette has a beautiful way of layering and distressing...those eyelets and lacing are just stunning!

Tracy says, "Want to learn how to distress? Take a look at this layout by Lisette because she has done it perfectly! Everything is perfectly aged without overdoing it. The effect is an absolutely stunning piece of art!"
 

Pam says, "WOW...how inspiring! This is amazing!"

Cindy thinks this is a terrific photo, the layering and the lacing are fantastic. The inking and the paper tearing add just the right touch.

Angie says, "Stunning LO with just the right touch of color!"

Laura M says, "The color scheme here is one of my favorites, and the distressing and careful arrangement of the textural elements is gorgeous!"

Susan thinks the title is exactly what I think of as I look at this layout. Everything is absolutely perfect and stunning!

Sarah says, "The unique picture draws your attention and then you get lost in the beautiful distressing. Love the torn/laced details!"

because of the amazing details. The tulle edge, the layers of swirls and flowers are all just perfection!

Kathy loves the vibrant colors here and the use of tulle & stitching to add dimension. Gorgeous flower clusters!!

Angela says, "I love how all the flower embellishments are layered and clustered together. The bright colors make the photo pop."

Cassie says, "Love the circle design, and how the tulle (?) extends past the edges of the paper. The flower elements are outstanding!"

Jess thinks The tulle is just genius! Her cut flower work layered with the velvet flowers is so very pretty.

Susan says, "OH my! Do I love the tulle on the outer edging. VERY COOL. Love the colors and the dimension is amazing. Fantastic layout!"

Sarah says, "There's a tu-tu on this page!! I love it! Also love the mix of flowers."

Diane says, "Wow! I love all of the shapes and textures used on the layout. The dimension looks wonderful! "

Kristianne loves all the tiny details and thinks the flower clusters are beautiful.

Janell says, "I love how she worked inside the circle and added such amazing elements around the border. Her clusters are gorgeous!"

Tracy says, "Can you say stunning? What a powerful, yet totally feminine layout! The flowers and tulle really make this stand out! Beautiful work!"

 

Kathy (katarria) is thankful for Who's Who by Madeline

because, "I love the play on words with her title and how she used the roll card card to journal the names & ages of the cousins in the photo. I'm always looking for creative ways to scrap group photos & thought this was adorable!!"

Angela thinks This is such a fun layout from the title to the photo to the roll call list. What a cute fun idea for a layout!

Cassie is totally digging the bright colors on this! Works great with the photo, where everyone is wearing different colors. The use of the roll card is great!

Jess says, "I just adore the bright, playful colors and whimsical owl on this!"

Sarah says, "Super fun page with the colors, the pieced owl, and the great journal card!"

Ronny says, "This is just too cute, with the bright colors and fun owl embellishment. Awesome design."

Janell says, "I am such a sucker for owls and I love that little bow on top with the star brad to hold it in place. Wonderful and bright colors, this is so fun!"

Diana thinks it's so cute how she was able to use a border of color to enhance her photo.

Sarah says, "Brilliant job! How else could you caption such a big picture?!?!"

Kristianne says, "a clever theme and I very much like the way the layout is designed with bright colors and balanced page elements."

Angela (bluejeans7) is thankful for Say Cheese by Carrie 123

because the color combination is great for a fun boy page. Love all the square elements in this design and of course the cute subject.

Laura F thinks those photos are amazing! She loves the cute cluster below them!

Cassie says, "These photos are great, and the whole LO is boy-perfect!"

Jess says, "Look at that adorable grin! And the instructional journaling card is perfect here!"

Susan thinks the photos are great and the squares along the bottom, mixed in with the flowers and the lines, really blend this layout together.

Sarah says, "This is a fantastic boy page! Love the mix of shapes!"

Ronny says, "So fun, the best part are those great photos, they pull you right in. And the colors are just perfect."

Janell loves the photos in this layout, "What an adorable boy! I really love the accent colors on top of the blue."

because of the story it tells. She says, "I love the story on this LO, and that great photo! This is a great example of sharing family stories via scrapbooking!"

Laura F thinks this layout just touches your heart! "The layout caught my eye the moment I opened my gallery! The old photo, the beautiful cluster of embellishments and the beautiful story all combine to make a perfect layout."

Cindy loves the story behind this layout too! She also loves the colors and the cute little tag!

Jess (ScrapGoo) is thankful for Mint Choc Chip Mickey by megamay

because she am so loving the eyelet fabric that Meg used here! The sweetness of it goes so well with the dainty deer and sprinkled flowers. This whole layout is beautiful!

Tracy says, "I adore all frame work in this layout. The titling, the addition of the fabric ruffle, the flowers and the sweet little deer-all perfect for that cute photo!! The color contrasts are very striking. Beautiful layout!"

Cindy loves the use of the Sassafras papers here-- adorable photo!

because it is gorgeous! She loves the white space and the photo that has captured a true moment of joy!

Janell loves the use of the white space and the page is bursting with life and yet so simple.

because, "I love the bright primary colors against the black and white. The way she made the cake with different patterned papers and trim is a really neat idea. And I LOVE the naked chipboard title!!"

Beth thinks that bright, colorful cake is completely YUMMY! She also likes the cool photo effect with the colored candles!

Sarah says, "Fun, fun page - love the b/w polka dot background with the bright Birthday colors. Love the cute cake, and love the selective photo coloring!"

Laura F thinks this layout is so FUN and BOLD! She loves the whimsical cake...and the black & white background is the perfect setting for this bright layout!

Tracy says, "Who doesn't love to see the cheery effect created by using bright colors on a black background? By using this color palette, Nicole has set the perfect tone for her birthday layout. I love the vertical design here and the patterned papers for the cake. Choosing to keep that chipboard naked was a stroke of genius."

Sarah (davsar) is thankful for "Pumpkin Patch Kids" by twinsmomflor

because she loves the large extracted, over-the-frame picture and how the elements seem to be a continuation of it! Wonderful flowing page!

Ronny says, "Taking the pumpkin out of the frame is just too cool. And the elements being inside the frame on the background give this layout great depth."

Beth thinks this layout has so much to look at! The way the pumpkins and leaves extend out over the frame really draw the eye into the awesome photo!

Janell says, "Oh how cute this is inside the frame, with the wonderful extraction and all the warm fall details. Love the pumpkins and little birdies."

Diana says, "I love that this entire page is framed. The photo is fantastically extracted as well."
 

Sara loves the fantastic use of cropping - and how the pumpkins just spread across the page!

Pam thinks this title totally rocks, and the whole layout is perfect.

because "I love the emotion in the photos and the colors and the layering. There is so much going on but it all works so perfectly together."

Laura F says, "Who can resist the color combo of red, black and Kraft? This layout is so eyecatching!"

Janell thinks the photos are beautiful and taken with so much depth. She loves the simple colors added to enhance them.
