TITLE WORK 5 comments

Making Our Titles Look Unique

Posted by FairyMouseMom

ACOT's Digital Creative Team was challenged this week to come up with a unique looking title....something funky.....spiced up however we wanted.  Take a look and see what we created.

FUN FUN FUN ~ CT Reveal by bamablue (Glenda)

Glenda wrote:  I "punched" out the title by creating a mask, then selecting that mask, switching to my background layer(s) and deleting. I added a drop shadow to my background layer so that the letter holes would appear cut out. I then tried a few different colors to sit underneath my background layer until I found one that I liked.

Comfortable Sisters by bamablue (Glenda)

Glenda wrote:  "I scraplifted this title technique from a layout I saw in Digital Scrapbook magazine today, and I knew I had to try it... I love it when it all comes together! And it was super fun to figure out how to do it!"

Got Candy? by Art_Teacher (Laura)

Laura wrote:  "The reveal this time was to focus on jazzing up titles. I used A Charming Font Extended to create my title, then outlined with orange and highlighted with yellow. I also put in a drop shadow to pull the title away from the background."

Sunset Clouds by FairyMouseMom

Egle wrote:  "This layout was made for ACOT's Digital Creative Team's Reveal this week. Our focus / theme was: TITLE WORK. We were given that theme...and asked to make something creative with out titles on our layouts. I made this to actually go in my All About Me album as I really was relating to the quote I used as the journaling. For my title...I wanted to make it fun-looking as the picture was from the vacation that the family went on this summer in Florida."

Ambiance by m1218p (Marci)

Marci wrote:  "I used papers from Kim Hill's yellow and red mono packs. The cluster frames are from her multi frame clusters. I "extracted" one frame and used it to frame out my title since the emphasis is on titles this week and this is a technique I haven't used in a while."

Bugs {Title CT Reveal 11-7} by Smiley-Scrap8 (Ronny)

Ronny wrote:  "This week's reveal is to highlight our titles and make them something special. I had grand ideas that my skills could not match, but I used what I could and cut my title out of my photos. To really make it special I wrote the word "bugs" in different fonts in a creepy crawly way as to imitate the look of bugs themselves."

True Colors {CT Reveal}by janello (Janell) by Janello (Janell)

Janell wrote:  "For this CT Reveal we were to make unique looking titles. I made mine with Danielle's fabulous new worn alpha overlays!!! Instead of using paper to fill in the alphas, I used pictures that I took myself of the leaves around my house. I also put a frame around the title as a way to anchor it to the top."

Boo! by Keling (Sarah)

Tractor Ride by davsar (Sarah)

Sarah wrote:  "For this reveal we are highlighting unique ways to do title work. For my title I digitally made a sticker title, painted over it, and then removed the stickers."

Mister Boo {CT Reveal} by Mommybruno (Cassandra)

Cassandra wrote:  "This week's reveal is to showcase a unique title treatment. I decided to supersize, and fill in my letter spaces with pictures. I really like how this came out! And it was a fun way to showcase some pics of my little Boo!"

Fun Fun Fun {digi reveal 11/7} by nun69

Spookley {digi CT reveal} by MamaK321 (Kristianne)

Baby, It's Cold Outside *CT Title Work Reveal* by dianagirly (Diana)

Diana wrote:  "For my title work, I created a Text and adjusted the leading, giving it that slightly overlapped look. Then I went back and changed the color of some of the text and the font. "

Put on YOUR thinking caps and show us what you could create!!!
