Total Baby Cuteness with Snugglebug! 11 comments

Little Yellow Bicycle's Snugglebug Boy line

Posted by bluejeans7

When I think of the company Little Yellow Bicycle I think of embellishments galore!  Little Yellow Bicycle always seem to have so many different kinds of embellishments to pick from with each line.  The Snugglebug Boy line is no different.  After I decided to go with the Snugglebug Boy line the hardest part for me was narrowing down my embellishment picks.  LOL!    I had so much fun going back "in time" and scrapping these baby photos of Erik.  The Little Yellow Bicycle Snugglebug Boy was the perfect line for my sweet baby boy photos.  With so many different double sided papers and tons of embellishments to choose from, possibitities are endless!

Sweet Baby Love:  Check out my sweet little man when he was only a week old, too cute!  For this layout I started with the Bazzill Green Tea cardstock for my background.  The papers I used the front sides on the Boy Geometric/Blue Stripe, Boy Circles/Green Stripe, Boy Stripe/Green Flannel, Boy Gingham/Red Flannel and the back side of the Boy Good Night/Orange Stripe.  I inked all of my paper with Color Box Creamy Brown before gluing them down.  My title is off of the Snugglebug Boy Chipboard package.  I also used cardstock stickers from the Fresh Verse and Favorite Pieces packages.  Then I quickly machine stitched on my border.

Tiny Dreamer:  First of all I have to give props to my son Erik for helping me come up with the title for this layout.  For the background I used the front side of the Boy Circles/Green Stripe paper.  Then I picked the Boy All Over Snugglebugs/Blue Flannel and Boy Good Night/Orange Stripe for my accent papers.  To embellish I used a combo mix from the Clear Cuts, Favorite Pieces and Fresh Verse packages.

Baby Erik:  I have always loved this photo of Erik, his personality showed so much even when he was only 5 weeks old.  I only used three pattern papers on this layout.  Starting with the Boy Geometric/Blue Stripe for the background and the Boy Stripe/Green Flannel and Boy Gingham/Red Flannel as accent papers.  The title is a combo of American Craft Thickers and the "baby" from the Clear Cuts package.

Her Baby Brother:  Yes it's true that Marissa wanted a baby sister instead of a baby brother but she took to Erik right away.  On this layout I took the Boy Playtime Luster paper and trimmed ½" off the top and right side.  Then I glued it down on a Bazzill Starlight cardstock sheet leaving an even border all the way around.  The accent papers are the front side of the Boy Geometric/Blue Stripe and both sides of the Boy Circles/Green Stripe.  My embellishments are from the Fresh Verse, Chipboard and Favorite Pieces packages.  I also added some KaiserCraft pearls on the star stickers and my date.

Cute Times Two:  My title came to me before I even started this layout and that rarely happens to me.  I choose the Bazzill Papaya cardstock for the background and then layered on the pattern papers.  The paper used are the Boy All Over Snugglebugs/Blue Flannel, Boy Gingham/Red Flannel, Boy Circles/Green Stripe and Boy Stripe/Green Flannel.  I layered the "so cute" circle sticker on the circle Clear Cuts with a bee from the Clear Cuts too, then a Chipboard adorable tag.  Some random Maya Road chipboard hearts (accented with KaiserCraft pearls) around the title and this layout was done.

Sweet Baby Cheeks:  At first I didn't really want Erik to see this layout, I thought he might get upset about the photos.  When I was photographing my layouts he watched me and said that this layout was his favorite.  LOL!!  I totally love the Boy Stroll In The Park Luster paper and knew I wanted to use it for these photos.  I punched the smaller photo with my 3" circle punch and then placed the photos on top of my layered papers.  For the title I used the "sweet baby" from the Snugglebug Boy Felt Words package and some puffy Thickers.  Stars from the Clear Cuts and Favorite Pieces packages (again accented with KaiserCraft pearls) complete my layout.

Kissable Cutie:  On my last layout I used the Boy Words Luster, Boy Gingham/Red Flannel and Boy Circles/Green stripe papers.  I loved the cardstock sticker tree from the Favorite Pieces package and just had to use it, I even added some KaiserCraft pearls to it.  For the title I used the "cutie" from the Felt Words and the Bubble My Little Shoebox mini letters.
