The many uses of alphas!

Posted by Jenn Kellams

Stripes, and dots, and solids on my!  They come in so many shapes and designs.  The best part about it is that most people don't use them.  The digi-team created a reveal for you that will knock your socks off.  We have showcased the many uses of Alphas and now we challenge you to do the same thing and show us!!!

These layouts are by Annelies.

This makes GREAT wall-art!!

*Annelies used I used the alpha from Hot Flash Designs, background is from Hot Flash Designs, and the bubbles are from T. Hernandez.

You can use all font and no images for a different look.

*Annelies used, for this layout, Spunky alpha by THernandez, Everyday alpha by SAS designs, and L Desjardin the basically white alpha.  The cute little birds and background papers are from the kit Chickendance by Marcie Reckinger.

These layouts are from Jenn Kellams:

*For this layout Jenn used an alpha from one kit (an old one) and then used a paper from this kit to create a coordinating accessory for the layout.

*For this layout, Jenn used an alpha from one kit, and changed the hue and saturation in CS4 so that it would match the color scheme.

The following layouts are by Kristianne:

*Kristi used a snow alpha that blended right in with the layout.  She stuck with the theme of the layout and enhanced the snowy features.

* Again Kristi used an alpha from another a different designer than the layout and still found a way to make it all blend together.

*Kristi says: "I was inspired by the holiday shirt my dd was wearing and replaced the letter "O" with a photo. I like using the jumbo sized letters to really emphasize the feeling of the layout."

Layouts from our amazing digi-team and digi-guest!!

*This amazing layout was created by GlitterQueen99.  She used an alpha that was created with the kit for a complete clean look!

*Laura says "For this reveal about alphas, I chose to go with my favorite type of alpha: stamped. I just love the way a stamped alpha adds a realistic touch to a page."
