Doodlebug was one of the most fun lines that I've worked with, I love the colors, the fun brads and the patterns. Thanks to A Cherry On Top for all the great product to work with, it was a perfect choice for me this time. We're in the process of building a new house and moving after 22 years being in this one so the Welcome Home line is wonderful.
This picture of me will never win any awards but I thought we had better get in the pictures of recording the process. As you can tell it was a really cold day on the lake.
My youngest daughter Rebecca was home for the weekend and this was the first time she had seen the start of the house. The bright colors really help the dark day seem so much more cheerful.
This picture was from a couple of years ago when we were in Florida and our daughter Julie and her family came for a few days- I think the Home is where the heart is sticker is perfect to capture what it's like to be together .
This layout is for my book of things we did this summer, this was the evening before we had our big decade party. Fun time with my cousins and our family .
Now these are some pictures and a little story I've wanted to get scrapped for a long time. It's a picture I took this summer from where I grew up and an old post card of the same fountain.
Thanks ACOT for all the wonderful supplies to create with and have to keep my memories recorded for our family.
I just wanted to write you a note and tell you how much I have enjoyed working with you. I love your patterns, colors and designs. You're a welcome addition to my life and I look forward to working with you more all the time.
A Cherry On Top gave me the wonderful opportunity this month to work with the Dear Lizzy line and it sure was fun to create with it. My first project was a mini book with pictures from last Christmas . I think we all search and try to have the perfect pictures on Christmas Day. It's probably the day I get the worst pictures of the year, I'm so busy enjoying the day . I do actually get the family to pose for some of them. We enjoy all the little moments and will en joy them even more with this little book.
I switched over to a heritage line to use the Dear Lizzy Christmas line in a different way. I love the look of this with the picture of my grandmother and my great aunt. The addition of the peals by Prima, the flower by Maya Road and the metal flower by Sassafras Lass were perfect matches for the line.
Cards are a wonderful way to show off the Dear Lizzy line, the embellishments shine used on them, the size and the details are really perfect .
Thanks ACOT for giving me the chance to create this month with the wonderful new line Conservatory i ,it's a great line to work with to use all the pictures I have to scrap that I took at our lodge over a long weekend. Some of them are just some pictures taken over the years at the lodge. if you have any nature pictures this line seems to wok wonderful with them.
This photo just makes me smile when i see it the boys were having so much fun this day tossing a football back and forth between canoes. I stamped the background cardstock and put the strip of pp through the crimper. I added one of the new Basic Grey paper clips from the Pyrus line.
This is the oldest picture in the group as my daughter is now 24 and I don't think she climbs to many trees anymore.
I cute the branches out of one of the patterned paper pieces of paper for the side of it.
We got all the children home for Bob's birthday four years ago and it was a surprise for him. We spent the weekend at the lodge and had about 115 people come for the party. This line of patterned paper is from Moxxie and I love the subtle colors for fall in it. I hand stitched around the circle and added a few buttons .
My favorite picture I think that I've taken all year is this adorable baby bird one, adorable if your their mother I guess. When I saw the Conservatory line I knew it was going to be a perfect line to use.
. You have to love a day where you have time to play and just be a child, that's what this picture reminds
me of a good child day. That's for the great product ACOT for helping me to capture an ordinary day in the lives of my grandchildren.
It's been a tradition in the family since my oldest grandson started pre-school to make them signs for the first day of school and take pictures of them. We have had fun with it and the kids look forward to it every year ...
