I am a single mom of four boys that keep me on my toes. I work full time and seem to have no time to myself. I started scrapbooking years ago when I was still married. I am in a scrapbooking group I only wish I could do it more often. Since my divorce "me" time has seemed to dwindle more and more. But I find peace and solitude in doing it when I have time. I want to leave something for my boys I want them to know someday how much they were loved and are loved each and everyday. My mom never did anything like that for us when we were kids. She barely even took pictures so I have nothing to look back on from my childhood. So I promised myself that I would keep up on this, although with four kids I seem to get farther and farther behind. I have found this place to be very heartwarming and inspiring to me. I have done so many more pages since finding you guys. Thank you for that I needed a little pick me up and this has done it for me. My birthday is January 31st No anniversary here lol Other interest beside scrapbooking, anything americana themed, I SO LOVE CANDLES, Bath and Body creme's Raspberry, Vanilla Bean, Sweet Pea, Citrus Melon, I also love small Boyds Bears, small baskets, and birdhouses. My Scrapping Style traditional, getting more into lumpy though Album size? 12X12 Color choices? tans, browns, greens, blues, sage, lime greens, yellows, reds, some bright colors What kind of layouts are you going to be working on in the future? boys boys boys pages, tball, baseball, school days, preschool, babies first, family get togethers, holidays, birthdays, Disney/Florida/beach pages I have put off for over two years now haha Do you have a sizzix? YES I DO Dies I have Small flower combo, large file folder, matchbox, cars, dinosaurs, two heart sets, ornaments, ghosts, and more. Do you like cute stuff? yes some stuff more like animals and such I LOVE MONKEYS and FROGS! Heritage? I like it yes, however I have not done anything with this as of yet Do you use diecuts? yes chipboard, flowers, shapes and swirls Lumpy or not lumpy? trying some lumpy now Anything you won't use? stickers old style, buttons, eyelets Favorite designers? Chatterbox, Doodlebug, Crate Paper, Bo Bunny, Creative Imagination, Cosmo Cricket Anything you are wanting to try? I do use them but need to use them more often Do you use borders on a regular basis? not that much Do you use titles on a regular basis? (By titles I mean those that you make on a separate piece of paper and then adhere to the background. So, it doesn't include just adhering letters to the background.)Yes Do you use embellished tags on a regular basis? I am so behind however lately I have been a scrapping fool trying to catch up What is your favorite paper theme (i.e., floral, stripes, plaid, fun themes, solids)? plaids, multi colored striped, stripes, polka dots, solid bold colors, checkered, boys theme ( nothing along the cartoon line or realistic side though) Other than time and money (which we all need more of), what is your greatest scrapbooking challenge? getting current instead of being behind all the time its my goal for this year to get completely caught up and current, this will be tough but I am determined to do this LOVE CHIPBOARD LETTERS they are my favorite right now anything CHIPBOARD, I am always running out of letters. Well thats me!!! I guess I need to broadin my horizons some more, and try more new things! I will try most anything so hopefully this will bring me some really great lo's and books for my boys to have someday.
