Hey, everyone! I've been asked to introduce myself to you, so here goes. I am an accountant, specializing in taxation. I am blessed to be able to work from home and make my own schedule. I am married to Joe, a mortgage broker. We live in Las Vegas (yes, people really DO live in Vegas!). We're coming up on our fifth wedding anniversary. Between us, we have quite a family. I have one daughter, Jennifer, an attorney who works at the law school at the local university. She is married to Jason, also an attorney, who works for the Federal public defender's office. They have two children, Will, age 8, and Atticus, 9 months. My husband has one son, Matt, who is married to Rochelle. Matt does fancy-schmancy custom concrete work and Rochelle works for a local sign company. DH has two stepdaughters, twins, Misty and Christy, and Christy is the mother of our other grandson, Jonathan. DH also has a daughter, Erica, age 14--yes, we're starting with the whole teenage thing (please pray for us!). My husband was also guardian for his nephew, Kevin. We have three dogs and various grandpuppies and grandkitties. We love to travel, but due to DH's work, seldom get away for more than a long weekend. So, we spend a lot of our weekends in CA, AZ, Mexico, UT, etc. I'm secretly hoping to talk DH into broadening that a bit in the near future--maybe Colorado or Oregon, or even New Mexico. We love loading up our van and just heading out to get away from the city and all the stresses of the to-do lists that haunt us when we're at home. I have been scrapping since 2000. I very happily gave up paper scrapping for digital scrapping in 2005. I've just recently started boxing up all my digital supplies and have been donating to our church's Christian School. Their art teacher thinks I walk on water and I reclaim a bit more square footage in this house with every box I donate! I love digital and wouldn't go back to picking up all those little scraps of paper and trying to pry spilled glue off the surface of my desk for anything! I've been privileged to work on a number of Creative Teams and I love it! My designers have always been a joy to work with. I'm so excited to be selected to represent ACOT as a CT member!
