I am a 30 year old software engineer, wife, mother and almost compulsive scrapbooker. I have been scrapbooking for about 4 years. I got interested in scrapbooking after a trip to Europe. Currently, however, my favorite subject is my daughter, Eliana. My main motivation for scrapbooking is to preserve memories since I have a really terrible memory. However, I also enjoy it as a creative outlet and a stress reliever. Oh and I also just love the feel and the smell of the papers and all the pretty embellishments. I have a hard time describing my style because I really love everything about this art and I like to experiment with it all - from digi and hybrid to paint and gesso. I love colors - pretty much all of them. Sometimes I like to leave whitespace and sometimes I like to really pile it on. Sometimes I like vintage and distressed and sometimes I like bold and bright. I guess you could say that my pages reflect my mood along with the current trends. I also love challenges. I never met a challenge that I didnt like! I have met some that I dont have time for, or that I dont have materials for, but that is usually what gets me going and excited to create. Although sometimes it is just a really great photo or new product.
