Hi, my name is Stacy and I live in Montana. I live with my BF of 3 years and our three cats, Bandit, Leo and Stray. I work in an office and have for the last 12 1/2 years (wow! how time goes by fast!). In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking (of course), geocaching, taking walks, hiking, camping, fishing, reading, and watching movies/TV. I mainly paper scrap, but have dabbled on the "Dark Side" and tried my hand at digital. Still have a lot to learn, but it is fun. :-) My favorite thing about scrapping is the journaling. I love to tell the story behind the pictures or why the pictures are important to me. I am a 'simple' scrapbooker and prefer a lot of pictures and just a few embellishment on the pages. I enjoy doing the monthly challenges and the crop challenges because it gets me to do pages I wouldn't normally do and to try new techniques. My favorite scrapbook supply is paper. You can take away all my embellishments, but leave me my paper and I will be a happy camper! (okay, I might fight ya for the Stickles and Glimmer Mist -- my two new obessions!) I got into scrapping in January of 2001 and have completed about 18 albums (35 sheets/70 pages per album -- over 1260 LO's!!). I was also a Creative Memories Consultant from June of 2001 to September of 2006. I still love all the CM supplies -- especially their cutting system! I found out about ACOT from my SIL, craftyfool. She kept talking about "online crops" and how much fun they were. I didn't think they would be any fun since you are all alone and typing on computer. But her enthusiasm was catching and I stopped by her house to see what it was all about. I was soon rushing home (with a stop at Walmart for "bling", "felt", and "buttons" -- stuff I had never put on a page before!) to log in and PLAY! I now mark my calendar for the crops and warn BF I will be unavailable for the weekend. :-) For me scrapbooking is a way to relax, spend time with friends, and preserve some cherished memories. Something I hope to do for many years to come!
