I teach high school art and have no children, although we would love to have a child. Married to my hubby for 19 years. We have one spoiled Golden Doodle puppy named Paisley. In some of my spare time, I'm a Mary Kay consultant, been doing that since I got out of college and got addicted to the products. My husband and I like to travel, go to movies, and go out boating on the lake near our home. We are both also very involved with music, singing in church choir, playing instruments, and going to the symphony. I scrapbook on 12x12 albums, and I like to try new things. I have been into digital scrapping lately, as I quickly became addicted to the ease of manipulating my layouts! However, I will always be a paper scrapper at heart. I use mostly patterned paper (all kinds!), cardstock, stickers, rub-ons and quotations/phrases, as well as metal. Don't mind slightly lumpy albums, but not too thick, because I take tons of photos and each album is full with pages! I am in love with the new Queen and Co. Felt Fusion die-cut ribbons! I think I need them in every color and pattern! LOL! My favorite embellishments are chipboard and rub-ons. I love to use brads and shaped buttons. My favorite types of stickers are realistic ones with the layered look, like Karen Foster or All My Memories. I like the look of texture without the thickness of lumpy. Favorite things I don't buy for myself are Jolee's, and K & Co. embossed stickers, and clear acrylic stamps. I really like all of the Basic Grey stuff, as well as the new My Mind's Eye collections. Cosmo Cricket is also right up my alley. Have a sizzix and don't have many dies. I have a paw print, dog dish and bone, music notes, filmstrip frame, oval tags and regular tags, photo corners, primitive hearts, primitive stars, and I have a few of the embossing ones: music note, paisley, Christmas lights, and paw print. I also got the sidekick. Would love snowflake, or other versatile dies. I really love fabric-looking items with adhesive already on them. Colors I prefer are jewel tones and neutrals. I dislike fluorescents and I don't use alot of straight primaries. I don't have any children, so I don't tend to use much cutesy stuff. I would categorize my style as clean, classic, artistic. Pages I will be scrapping in the future include dog pages, Christmas, family gatherings, vacations, and general family pages. 8/22/09
