I think with only a week, I would head for the mountains so DH could fish, but I would relax....................rent a nice cabin and eat some yummy food, read some books and take lots of naps..LOL

If you ever come to TN - let me know.  I'm about 90 minutes from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.  It's beautiful - especially during the fall and winter!!!

I think I would either go to Washington, DC or New York.  I love visiting both of those places and there is always so much to see and do there.

OR..... I would stay home and scrap, try out all the recipes and stuff I have pinned on pinterest.  DH and I could binge watch tv shows and movies - not having to worry about staying up so late since we wouldn't have to go to work.

I am really simple...  Since it is just a week, I would go visit DD in TN as I haven't gotten there yet or do something really expensive I wouldn't normally think about.. Hawaii or something on those lines.

Rebecca ~ my DD moved to Maryville so when we visit in November...we will have to see if we can meet :)

I would finally go to Frankenmuth Michigan and spend the week exploring and relaxing . . . by myself.
Right before I die, I'm going to swallow a bag of popcorn kernels.  My cremation is going to be EPIC!

I can't decide.

Either a tour of Europe, Have not been to Italy ever. OR a trip to a tropical island - one of those with the rooms out on the water...

For me it would have to be Vancouver Island.  It is a spectacular place to visit in the summer and so relaxing!  The scenery is the best.  And it’s not too far away.

Well, since being retired and not having to go to work, I'd only have to worry about money (and DH's health).  But it he didn't have his health issues and money was no problem, I'd love to take him to Ireland.

Spend the week in Central Texas. Fredericksburg, Schulenberg, La Grange. Czech (haha!) out the German and Czech restraunts, shops, etc. Czech Museum. Maybe even some cemetaries where my ancestors are buried.

well I have all my weeks off work but I would probably be somewhere much cooler than central California Sacramento Valley!   Perhaps a nice cabin up around Lake Tahoe or maybe Glacier up in Montana.  Yep High up and cooler.    Perfect start to a week that is expected to have 6-7 days in a row of 100+ temps  lol

Definitely a trip  worth making but maybe not just now.  lol  Their monsoon season and flash flooding occurring.     But when not flooding, down in the bottom of the canyon is amazing and only way down there is by foot or donkey.     One of God's wonders indeed!!
