Ok, sorry, another question! When is the first challenge (#1) due? Are all of the challenges going to be due at the end of each week on a certain day/time?

Can we combine all 4 challenges into 1 layout? scrapsakes wrote:Hello hellooo I really am super excited to be this month's Guest Designer here @ ACOT! As some of you know, I also served as a member of the Creative Team a few years ago and I always looked forward to coming up with ideas for the monthly challenges. So now, I get to do it again this month, but even better since I will also be giving away $5 gift certificates! All entries are due DECEMBER 1st and the random winners will be announced the next day!! The RULES: - Please sign up here in this thread to let me know you will be playing. - There will be a challenge for each week with a total of FOUR winners! - You may create a layout to enter 1 challenge or create all 4, up to you. - For entries to count, please show your layouts here under your name. - And, please submit only NEW layouts created for each week's challenge. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Challenge #1: STITCHING - machine, handmade, or rub-ons... show me your mad skillz!
- Challenge #2: BUTTONS - they are easy to use and creates a fun whimsical look, so try it.
- Challenge #3: COMPANY - scrap from my 3 faves (KI Memories, Basic Grey, American Crafts)
- Challenge #4: QUOTES - i love quotes, so choose your favorite & use it as a title on your layout.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, I think that's it! Questions or comments? Fire away... Anyway, have fun and GOODLUCK, you guys!!!!!

hmn... you could do that, but your layout will only be entered in ONE category instead of 4.

This is my favorite reciepe for them. Ingredients- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
- 1 egg
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons instant powdered milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 5 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened (for spreading)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions- Place water, egg, bread flour, white sugar, powdered milk, salt, 5 tablespoons butter and yeast in bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select DOUGH setting, and turn machine on.
- Meanwhile; in a small saucepan, melt 1/3 cup butter. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar and ice cream; bring to a boil, and cook for 2 minutes. Pour caramel into the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- When machine has finished cycling remove dough from pan and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Pat dough into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Crumble 1/2 cup brown sugar over the top. Roll up, and seal edge. Cut into 12 rolls, and place in prepared pan of caramel. Allow to rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
