September 2017 SKETCH With A Twist Challenge-WINNER!

Postby Deanna13 » Fri Sep 01, 2017 11:41 am

With it being such a busy August, I didn't get much scrapping done and I didn't get much done for Shannon's Pinterest Challenge. So, I found a fun sketch I wanted to use for our Sketch Challenge this month. You MUST also include HEARTS!

Remember you do not have to copy the sketch exactly, turn it, flip it, just take inspiration from it.

Recent photos of grandson Kellan with Grampy at Myrtle Beach, SC. (August 2017)
Fantastic Summer

For the fine print....
This can be a paper or digital layout ONLY! All work must be new. You may do this multiple times. You may combine with one other challenge that allows that. Please link your work here. Deadline is October 10th as we will be in Mexico and I'll draw winners when we get back. A random winner will be selected for a $5 ACOT gift card from me! If there are more than 20 participants I will draw a second name for a RAK too.

Looking forward to your interpretations!

Loving the sketch with the split diagonal.  Such a cool look!  Can't wait to see what everyone does with this one!  Thanks, Deanna!

Here's mine. I actually wanted to use both large triangles from the sketch and I even picked out a paper for the lower triangle, but then I wasn't sure it would look good and I didn't want to cut that paper if it wasn't going to work,  so I did the layout with just one triangle. I really like the sketch so maybe I'll do another one.

combined with the patterned paper challenge.

I actually did this sketch some years ago for another site. Started this - love the split triangles. I had to use 3 vertical pics and then that's when it started to morph. This is how it ended up.
