The next set of pages for the album I am scrapping for my mom about my grandmother. Once again I have to thank all the Cherries for turning me into a lean, mean journaling machine! There is a real story to my grandmother's life and this album would never have really told it if I hadn't been inspired by the Cherries to journal more than just dates and events. It is really coming out so much better than I ever expected because of this. TFL!

A few notes: I painted some of the Prima Innoscence Collection flowers with Shimmerz in Angel Wings and the result was awesome! I removed the yellow stones from the center of the Basic Grey Bling It Clematis flower and replaced them with one of the large Bazzill Bling Stones in Kisses. I made the large Making Memories Black Square Glitter Bling Frame by cutting two of them apart and piecing them together. Oh, and I just need to rant that Heidi Grace rub-ons really suck! I had to cut the red swirls out and glue them down as transparencies.

Products used:

Paper and Cardstock: Bo Bunny Unforgettable Love paper, Heidi Grace Midnight Kisses paper, KaiserCraft Loire Valley Celandine paper, Bazzill cardstock in Coastal, French Vanilla, and Crimson

Wow Barb! These pages turned out gorgeous. I read about how you altered the embellishments and I never would have thought to do something like that. The journaling is just awesome. You are writing and illistrating a book and I know your mother will just love it. I wish I had all of my mother's photos in albums, but that is going to take a long time. I have boxes and boxes of old old photos. Some of the people I don't even know. It's so important to keep our family heritage alive. For your mother to have a scrapbook about her mother is just such a beautiful thing. Do you think the book will be ready by Mother's Day?
