My little grandbaby on his first Halloween. TFL!
Journaling reads: Aiden will not remember his first Halloween. He was only 2 months old and he won’t remember that his mommy and daddy bought him a little skeleton outfit to wear. He won’t remember that a devasting hurricane hit two days before Halloween, and that his home was without power for almost two weeks. He won’t remember how cold it got, and how dark it was every night. And he won’t remember that his mommy and daddy didn’t want him to miss out on his first Halloween. He won’t remember that they made sure that he and his sister still got to dress up in their costumes, and he won’t remember that they drove them around to see different members of the family. He won’t remember that they came here to trick or treat, and that we were so happy to see him and Maddie dressed up. He won’t remember that there was only flashlights and candlelight, and he won’t remember me taking pictures of him. And althought he won’t remember any of this, one day he will be able to look back and see how his mommy and daddy made sure that Hurricane Sandy did not take away his first Halloween.
