Description

The reveal this week was to use depth-of-field to blur the background and make the subject of the photo pop. Even though this background wasn't that busy, I like how using this technique makes my cousin's daughter and the blow-up Brutus Buckeye appear more 3-dimensional.

Credits:
Red paper from Kim Hill's "Monochromatic Papers: Red."
Photo Overlay from Something Blue Studios "Worn Photo Overlays Set 2."
Small photo frame cluster from Christine Haskell's "Frameworks."
Title alpha and stitching is Rowena Field's/Willro & Co. "Typewriter Alphas (Red Twill)."
Brackets and button are from Danielle Young's "Drama Queen" kit.
Tag is from Isabel Mendez/Crisdam Designs' "Cherry Bits" collection.
