Description

Hi, Ladies! This is my Super Star #8 Challenge and March Challenge...all rolled into one!

The hidden journaling reads: "Justin and Veronica, I had so much fun getting you going on your pumpkin designs this year. We got the carving and decorating pumpkins when we were out by Grams Noel this past October. You each selected the designs you wanted to carve and did most of the work yourselves! Oh, my, you are getting older! Veronica, you designed the “Nosy” pumpkin and Justin, you designed the “Visitor” pumpkin. It was fun to do a family project, too. We each got to decorate little pumpkins by painting and then sealing them. Veronica, you decorated your pumpkin by giving her a happy face, black and white hair, and lots of teeth. Justin, you decorated yours with a scary face, big ears, missing teeth and an eye patch. Daddy painted bats and a moon on his. I painted Frankenstein on mine. Hopefully, he does not bear any resemblance to me! We then put all of the pumpkins out in front of the house for the neighbors to see and enjoy them, too. What fun we had. Hopefully, we will keep this up as a tradition. We just may have to talk Daddy into it!~ October 2oo4 ~"

The ribbon is from Michaels (plain orange ribbon and Textured Trios - striped).

The letter stickers are from Kopp Design (Citrus Square #05-105).

The orange pastel brads are from Making Memories.

I rubber stamped "2004" and "Pumpkin Parade" with orange acrylic paint.

The patterned papers are from Die Cuts With a View (blue) and Doodlebug Design Inc. (#910 - Marmalade / Tangerine Megastripe).

The solid cardstock is unknown.

The hidden journaling is "inside" the top pictures of the kids working on their pumpkins. You open it up in the center. The inside left and right pictures are their pumpkins with a candle burning inside along with a picture of the patterns they used! The verbiage is in the center on the orange cardstock along with a few extra pictures.)

THANKS for looking and leaving a comment.

(OMG, I had to try to "edit" this post......sorry if it doesn't end up looking nice after the second edit trial!)

Awesome job.  I think that it was very smart of Justin to NOT wear a shirt while carving the pumpkin.  Pumpkin carving can get quite messy!
