Description Hello and thanks for looking! My title was "BORROWED" from Lays Potato Chips. I just enhanced it to read "Scrap for the fun of it!" and "Bet you can't have just one!"My journaling reads: "I would have to compare scrapbooking supplies to Lays Potato Chips – Bet you can’t have just one! Here are my top favorites that I love to use on my layouts:1. EYELETS: I love the metallic ones the best. I keep my eyelet supplies all stored in a Creative Memories bag to keep it nice and handy.2. CUTTERS: I use my Cutterpede and Creative Memories personal trimmer almost all of the time. They make cutting my papers down to size a godsend!3. LETTERING: Is there such a thing as having enough type of supplies to use for lettering? I think not! It can come from rubber stamps, metal letters, stickers, or punches for to me it does not matter. Give me letters or give me death (well, not really – but you get my gist?)!4. FIBERS AND RIBBONS: These come in so many colors and varieties and they sure add a nice touch to a layout.5. RUB-ONS: I just don’t understand why I didn’t start using these earlier. I am starting to build up a supply. Whether it’s a snowflake, a letter, or a phrase to me it just looks awesome. And, last, but most certainly not least is:6. PAPER: This comes closest to the phrase of “Bet you can’t have just one!” Cardstocks, patterned paper, mulberry paper, vellum – I have to have it all!"I enhanced my pictures with: eyelets for #1 (eyelets), a cut strips of paper for #2 (cutters), stamped letters for #3 (letters), fiber for #4 (fibers and ribbon), rub-ons for #5 (rub-ons) and just blue cardstock as matting for #6 (paper).OK, I used one of my favorite colors for scrapbooking - blue...embellished with some red and some patterned papers!(GLAD THIS ONE IS DONE!)

What a great idea - I love it, especially 3. LETTERING: Is there such a thing as having enough type of supplies to use for lettering? I think not! It can come from rubber stamps, metal letters, stickers, or punches for to me it does not matter. Give me letters or give me death (well, not really – but you get my gist?)! NEVah! |
