Description This is one of my 10th grade students. I wanted everyone to see teens the way I do after teaching them every day.
Journaling reads:
Beautiful, self assured, independent, and a tad cocky. This is the armour teenagers wear so well. Until you're allowed to see beyond that protective veil they hold so tightly in front of themselves against the world, you'd never know how vulnerable they really are. Until I became a teacher and spent every day with society's teens, I, like you, never realized how fragile they are. Our words, actions, and reactions really do affect how these young adults view themselves, help them make decisions, and how they interact with others. So next time you're speaking to at teen, please keep this in mind and be gentle. K Pertiet-curled frame; Anne Lang-freebie pp, nrj-indust overlay. Tfl!
