Journaling reads:From a photographers lens these pictures are perfect. They portray my family enjoying Christmas morning. David looks intent on opening his present from the kids in these pictures. And look those adorable girls, Jazi and Sasha, are struggling to grasp the wrapping paper between their teeth to unwrap their gifts (bones). Aww… The kids are too cute as well. Ashley’s face is all lit up as she discovers Rory bought her those beautiful diamond earrings she saw at the mall. But wait! It’s just dawned on me-it happened yet again, the photographer is missing from these pictures. Once again I was so busy capturing memories that I never realized no one took photos of me as I opened my gifts. *Sigh of disappointment* Note to self: Make sure in the future others are taking pictures as well so next year my portrait will be included in our family memories, rather than just through my journaling of the event.
