Description My students creating their life journey scrapbooks after a unit we completed. Journaling reads: How many teenagers think about their lives thus far? After reading Parallel Journey, my 10th grade honor students do just that. What level-headed, hard-core scrapping educator would pass up an opportunity to implement scrapbooking into their curriculum? NOT ME! After I gave my classes their project assignment, I was concerned how the boys in my class (which are about 85% of my students) would respond. I was surprised and amazed at the effort and time they put into creating their life's journey scrapbooks. This is a project that allowed my students to learn more about themselves and their families, but the best part is my being able to share my love of scrapbooking with them. Becky Fleck sketch. Tfl!
