Description
I wanted to do something besides a layout on gas prices with the “Fill’er Up” paper, and my husband actually suggested the idea used here, which worked for this months "simple pleasures" scrap your life challenge.
Ideas to Note:
• LYB mat with arrows and “destination” sticker symbolize that we all have a direction to take in life’s journey.
• Printing my journaling on a transparency allowed me to keep the layout fairly clean –allowing the truck and gas station sign graphics to stand out. Test runs of the journaling were printed several times on regular paper to ensure my text would wrap around the Pegasus icon.
Journaling:
What fills you up? Just as cars and trucks need to be fueled by gasoline, we all need to be fueled as well. For me, I am filled when I wake up with a great praise and worship song in my head. I am filled when I take a walk and experience God's creation. I am filled by His word, and filled with love for and from my family. As a daughter of the King, I am simply filled with the hope of a promise to be fulfilled.
